Hi Experts,

I lived in UK for a couple of years previously. Hence, need to apply for PC from UK. I have gone through their website. However, I would like to seek any advice from any one who has already gone through this process. Is it safe to order PC by ordinary mail or should i opt for a courier? How long does it take to get this certificate (from UK to India)?

Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you.

Am a Physiotherapist and trying for FSW program. currently am undergoing some problem with my ECA which was done in WES. my undergraduate degree equivalence is "Bachelors degree from a non-recognized university. Am yet to do my Postgraduation evaluation but i already crosschecked with the list of WES for the recognition of post graduate university and also from my friends who has done it already. now, my worry is am i eligible for fsw program and if that is so how many points they will award me in education? plz help me :-\

I think you can not apply for the FSW program because of the undergraduate degree equivalence is "Bachelors degree from a non-recognized university". I heard some applicant got this result from WES and they again do the credential assesment from ICAS. I have done ECA from ICAS. You can also send me the personal massage.

Hi

Do we get some intimation at our residence address too or is only email channel used by CIC.

and

Also do we receive our original IELTS back

Hi Moderators and Senior Users,

I have a confusion. I lived in Dubai date 56 days in one occassion (on Visit Visa) and 5 months 28 days (on Training Visa) on another occassion. I have mentioned this is Travel History IMM5562E form. I wonder do I have to mention this on Number 12 of General application form ?

I will be very much thankful for your experience and opinions.

If you have added your email address in the application, all communications from CIC will be by email.

Can't wait for CIC to start charging 16th May DD applicants. :(

The original IELTS is returned in case where whole package is returned -say if application is incomplete.

Hi Optimist,
In my case, I sent them an address of my friend living in UK, and in return he sent me my PCC to India. It took the authority almost 3 weeks to prepare my PCC and send it across to my friend (normal - 1st class post).

But as u already know, in applying for FSW you are not required to send your PCC along with your application. So you are not in rush...you can use any of the services, which best suits you...

Hope this helps...

All the best

Hi Darpan,

Thank you very much for this useful piece of information. I will probably try and do the same as I still have some contacts in the UK.

I have already sent my application to CIO. So, going ahead with the rest of the stuff...... being "Optimistic" :)

For any change of status like employment, family composition, marriage, etc you have to inform your local VO immediately and not to CIO. So wait for PER. Once you get the PER and your file has been transferred to your local VO, you provide them updated information.

Hello forum members,

I am a 9th June applicant for NOC 0113 Purchasing Manager. Currently I am working as a Purchase Manager in my company since 2010. I gave my experience certificate to CIC stating that I m currently working in my company. But due to some personal reason I will be resigning and leaving my job by the end of this month sept. So do I have to inform the CIC ppl that I left my current job and send them my relieving letter thru mail. Or is it ok if I don't inform them. Because according to my experience letter which I send them they will think I am still working in my company.

Bro Ashif and Century need your advice on this please......

Is your university is showing amongst the recognized universities on WES?
if Yes, then write to WES and ask what could be wrong.
if No, then you may try ICAS or uToronto for evaluaton.

Is your Masters from the same University? Is it recognized by WES?
if yes, then need not worry about Bachelors and provide Masters, but better to have clean sheet in both Bachelors and Masters since you've already got it evaluated.
if No, then you may try ICAS or uToronto for evaluaton.

Stick here and get your queries resolved. Seniors can help out here.

Hey guys.. I need some help
me and my wife both sent applications under noc for "accountants" and "purchasing manager" on june 16. Then we didnt know whether we would both or either fall in the cap. So just to be safe we sent two applications thinking that one of will withdraw as soon as the other gets PER.
Now we are thinking that we dont want to pay $1,100 twice. Please suggest how to go about to avoid paying additional 1,100 $

Kudos to all new updates. Hope this week we can see more entries in yellow, so that we could use another sheet only to keep the yellow entries :P
