I got in touch with bank. But, they said that they want original draft. Or, I need to file an FIR, then it can be cancelled.

Banking has never been logical anyhow.

Well, if you can contact CIC, well and good.
If they charge, but later refund, then also well and good.

Another extreme choice you have is to take your money away from the account associated with the DD.

Dear seniors,

1. My employer gave the duties letter with just my sirst & surname but my middle name is missing(my passort has first middle and surname). Please suggest if that is okay or do i need to produce any affidavit where i will put my complete name and also first & surname and say that all these are my names.
If so, please give me a sample doc for the same.
2. Employer just mentioned the duties without salary details.Do i need to produce a letter stating my salary and any other details? If so, kindly send me a reference sample for the same.
3. While filling the experience: if my experience is 8 monthe shud i mark 1 year? and if my exp is 1.4 yrs shud i mark 1 yr or 2-3 yrs?

Please suggest.

Thanks a lot.

Buddy,

1. It will be ok,,,in that case u may add tht affidavit....also u can attach a cover letter stating the situation.

2. Yes u will need it....Also u can submit payslips instead...

3. For the both cases- u need to tick one year....(actually there is no other option to choose..)

All the best

Need one suggestion regarding Settlement Funds,

I have Settlement funds amounting 12000$ and have liabilities (personal loan)of nearly 8000$. I don't own a property or car .

What should I mention in Assets Column.

I fear about the liabilities , would it have a negative impact on my application?

Please suggest.

It is normal (they work in partnership with a local company called loomis that's why the issue), you unfortunately happened to take the worst courier for CIC delivery amongst the top three. But your documents have reached alright, so do not worry.
You can call courier customer service. They will let you know the name of the person who has taken ur package

So that makes it equivalent to a Money Order, isn't it ? And ideally, it should be called as 'charged' the day it was made.

Guyz please help...when we submit the application to cic and suppose if its incomplete or ineligible....when will cic let us know...i mean in how much time

Just scrolled down to check if anyone replied on this (3rd alternative )
Goku did that ;)

Btw ashif bhai has provided best option to call them and notify for the same and later u can communicate to ur bank and at the max in the end of 6 month validity of ur dd... U can get that money back in ur account (if u don't wanna opt for FIR option)

Assets would be your settlement funds plus whatever other assets you might have, such as property, jewelry, non-liquid bank accounts, cars, a private island...
