what's going on at CIC....where might have they reached till now for doc verifications, june!!....this means the CIC doc verification is far ahead of the CC/DD charged thing....

I never heard too.. i have requested them to scan and send me the letter and form...If they are willing to send, il definitely let u know...I am there in the SS. No they are not...he is an old man why would he joke...

Your application will not be rejected for using old form. For your peace of mind, you can send those forms only to CIO.

Dear Expert members,

Have already updated my query on this forum but feeling very bad about it.

I have sent my application on 22nd Aug using the old forms and did not notice the changes until today to the forms.

My question to members is should I have used the latest forms?
In most probability it might be rejected & to not miss out on this opportunity can I resend the entire package or wait for an update from CIC and take the next step, which will consume precious time.

Below are the details of my application sent n delivery:

Couriered on 22nd Aug
Received by CIC on 26th Aug.

Any reply would be appreciated. Some members have already replied but they were not aware of the above details.

When I was in India (on vacation for 1 month) I applied for PCC at Passport Seva kendra on 5-8-2014 and I got SMS that my PCC is clear and I can collect from Passport seva kendra on 27-8-2014

But I came back to UAE on 25-8-2014.

1. Does anyone can take my PCC on my behalf
2. My brother who applied also applied for FSW and PCC told me that, they will stamp on Passport that PCC issued for Canada
3. Can I request them to send PCC to Indian embassy in UAE
4. or Shall I go to India may be on 26-9-2014 and collect personally
5. or leaving all this, can i apply for fresh PCC from UAE, but will they check that , on my passport PCC issued but not taken, will the Indian embassy in UAE make problem in issuing PCC again as i previously applied in India.


my spouse who is also in FSW application not applied yet for PCC from anywhere

we are thinking of applying to Indian Embassy in UAE for PCC , but worried about my previous PCC application in India


please help me guys

Trying to find how many 14 may applicants go their DD charged? and also received PER emails? It seems my excel skills aren't the best as i tried checking the spreadsheet to find this info, couldn't sort.

2.We started processing your application on August 25, 2014.

Its cases like these that are giving me nightmares, i am just hoping that my consultant despite hundreds of phone calls/email notifications have not done any critical documentation mistake

Same story here mate, 1st i did the mistake of hiring a consultant, 2nd ==> DHL ==> worst ever ==> took them bloody 7 days to deliver the packet originally dispatched from delhi to CN & arrived hundreds of applications later on 14th may & to top it all off ==> i am in the worst NOC's: 2171 and 2174 [worst coz they are the most popular]..!!!

How can anyone other than CIC explain this?, no one on the forum works at CIC so any reply would be speculation. I can only assume that different people at CIC work at different speeds and so some people are getting charge or encashment quicker than others.

I am assuming and remember that sometimes assuming can make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'
