Guys, do we need to attach birth certificate affidavit or any other name related affidavit as original one or copy of it as no where its mentioned we need to submit original one, on checklist also mentioned copies only?

oscar, told you better chase nadim! ;)

joke on the side, if i do all over it again, with the same NOC, since they have my previous application (rejected one), wouldn't it be "strange" to receive the letters from the same employers, but just with the corrected info - info they wanted? i'm not clear on how that might work and not look suspicious (even tough there is nothing suspicious about it).
So what I understand that they were not having problem with your current 0015 code & they give points for that the problem was the previous reference letters then I think you should try with the same code but get the new reference letters with detailed description from the previous employers so you can get the marks for them.
Just for curiosity how much years you mentioned for 0015?

For people who have received PER this is a great time saver to check the status of E-CAS with just one click. Saves your time. Worth giving a try.

Brilliant, works well.

My consultant (Abhinav) again confirmed now that birth certificate is 100% mandatory. I have no choice but to go with his advice (having paid for that) and the fact that I have not sent my application yet.

Hi CanICan,

I have also checked with Abhinav consultant, 10th cert is fine. No worry.

Sorry to know abt ur case

U can re-apply with same noc and provide more evidence n ref letters is better option instead of trying for new noc with new "arranged " ref letters /duties /exp
As u said they have ur previous application (rejected one)

U can send cover letter and explain them your honesty

All the best

Submit a copy of your birth certificate, we were not requested to submit the original document. Cheers.

Actually until today I hadn't even noted that you are a female. And now I can understand why when I said the other day that seems I am going to Alberta, or wherever it was, you were very silent. Well, sorry I hadn't realized until then, and plus it was just a harmless humor. Yes, I am rooting for Nadim's PR now all the more strongly! :P

No, that's okay. All you would have done is provided more detailed letter with some new points and some that are more emphasized now. Take out some that don't need to be emphasized any longer. And all this is fine, if that letter is genuine and people can vouch for the content there. Nothing strange or suspicious about it - you have simply provided more relevant information so updated the letter as needed. Don't have to worry.

Worry would be when you would say I was a 2171 earlier but now I am a 2132 in the same company at the same time via two different letters in two different applications (i.e. two very different set of jobs from a software engineer to a mechanical engineer role). That is reason for worry, not what you probably are going to do. Cheers! :)

Right.....:)

+1 oscar....

Dear experts, I am in need of some sound advice.

I have hired ICAS to do my assessment and my documents arrived there on June 19th. Since July 4th my status has been the same until now "Application reviewed for completeness and placed in queue for assessment".

When I hired the service the website gave an estimated time for completion from 6 to 8 weeks. After a few weeks it started saying from 8 to 10 weeks. Both counting from the date the documents have arrived.

The fact is that I hired a service that should take from 6 to 8 weeks and AFTER I hired it, it changed and even the new estimated time for completion is not being observed since 10 weeks have already passed. I have sent e-mails, called them and every time I do the answer I get is the same: "Your file number is in the waiting line for assessment". I am worried thet cap will be filled and I won't be able to submit because of them. What can I do? Please I am really in need of some advice.
