Is hard to calculate bcoz, China plays a vital role, due to communist ideologies people tend to immigrate and they consists of world largest population. These guys do not have access to google and many other sites. May be the govt is also not supportive when it comes to immigration. You canno find Chinese in the SS.

Thanks. Guess I will have to send an email and postal mail

Is there any other case where CIC has extended the 60 day timeline for someone? Any precedent from I can utilise info.

hi
I am appying for FSW programme for CANADA.
I ahve gather all the docs.
I had doubts regarding the proof of relationship,in proof of relation i have provided following docs of MYUNCLE(daddy's Brother)

1)Birth certi of my Uncle
2)Citizen card of my Uncle
3)Notice of ASSESSMENT OF canada(as he doesn't have any utility on his name)
4)Canada Passport5)
5)India Passport
6)Letter from Bank that he holds the account in the Banks
7)Marraiage certificate of My uncle

Does the docs are sufficient as the proof of relationship.I have also heard that it is necessary to provide the Bank Statement for Three months which he is not willing to provide as he don't want to disclose the financial condition.

It would be great help if any one can give a clear picture on the same

Hi All
Couple of Urgent questions

1. Is there a contact phone number for CPC-OTTAWA? No direct line to CPC-Ottawa but you can try calling on 1-888-242-2100.

2. I need to send an email to CIC/CPC-Ottawa asking them to extend my 60 day timeline for providing MR and PCC. What should be the main points I need to highlight? Do we know of any one else getting extension? Reason for delay: FBI report had to be requested again as they were unable to verify fingerprints the first time
So, if you already received MR & PCC request then complete your MR, and also send them a denial report(if any, invoice, payment receipt) that FBI was unable to verify fingerprints the first time and you already have submitted fingerprints second time (send them some proof like invoice, payment receipt, etc.). Also request them to extend your give period and assure them that you will submit FBI clearance report as soon as its available. Sometimes if its a genuine reason then they do allow them with additional 30 days of limit.

P.S. if you haven't receive MR or PCC request, wait for request from CIC.

Admins, Please provide a reply here

Thanks
Sidhu

Once you get your PR is better u stay back for 3 months an keep applying from your home country. Make sure of u have a family do not take them along as you may have to move from province to province for interviews n stuff. Once you feel this is the job you wanted then move your family in.
If your current employee has a onshore office in canada try to take a transfer.

Hi,

New to this forum, a friend of mine's application was received on the 8th May...DD charged 17th July, but no PER....should he be worried.

I plan to turn in my application later this week..

No. of applications received per day decreased after May 7,8 and 12, so it won't take a long time between being charged and getting PER from now on I guess!!

Good to know. i thought India is the largest group of immigrants to Canada because according to the SS more than 50% are Indian.

Any CC (Citi, HDFC, Std. Chartered, ICICI) but just make sure the expiry date is more than 1 year (to be on safe side) and international transactions are allowed on the card, Additionally the limit should be enough for international transaction so that the charge goes thorough.

There is a good chance today. Hope it happens. since 19th was a holiday so moving from 16th onto 20th will feel a big jump for us later months' applicants.

I highly doubt it - my file reached on 14 may & till today it has remain untouched - no dd encashed - no cic email response - nothing !
