NDVO is not active presently, in my opinion total of around 10000 to 15000 applications may be received by CIC for 2014-15. NDVO is going to receive atleast 3500 to 4000 out of them. They need to send atleast 10 MRs per day to clear them in one year and 5 MRs per day to clear in two years. what do you think in how many years they may complete, by the present speed?????

Here is a query.. my wife's passport will be expiring in 2016 and am planning a reissue of her passport to modify personal details etc. Can I go ahead and do it.. I had submitted her current passport while filing pr application..

When I receive pcc request from ndvo, can I send her new passport's copy along wth it stating that her old pasport is now cancelled as we wanted some modifications in her passport..

Also I have to send my kid's passport to them


My brothers please provide your valuable inputs..

me & my spouse both renewed our passport as older one were before of marriages (which were in the application).
I consulted friends here and yes i am assured that it is completely fine.
Go ahead. We will contact NDVO once we get the PER or once the file is transferred.
And even when the MR request will come up from MDV, in the mail they write and ask for "current/valid" passport.

The way to reach NDVO is through mail & email (case specific inquiry)

[size=9pt] Dear Aman, In my limited knowledge I think CIC was the culprit until very recently as the bottlenecks were at CIC mainly due to shortage of people to look at the deluge of applications that arrived for FSW 2014 since May 6th and 7th onwards. The suffering continues more so until May 14th cases and then a little less until Jun 12th and even lesser post July 10th or so. Should actually get quite better post mid-June or so cases at CIC. Too early to call shots at NDVO, as it remains to be seen how they perform under pressure. Right now files have moved to them very slowly in the first place.

CIC has had budget cuts in the past and they are trying to manage best in whatever way they can. Plus with other programs running at CIC it takes toll on their limited capabilities is what appears from a distance.

Glad to learn that I was missed
Well, you need to refuel and rejuvenate to get back on track sometimes so took a break to rafu the purani jeans.
Things has become more colorful in a fortnight especially to main spreadsheet.
Only thing I see here "Charge date estimate" is still need some overhaul. Looks like our rafu-master dmitrych is on long vacation.

i wrote primary 8 secondary 4 university 5 is it ok

education details should i need to start from matriculation,......they say all secondary and post secondary.....means 10+1 onwards only.....took medical in 10+1 and 10+2 so should i write medical in the field of study
