CIC has really picked up the pace in last week or so.. If this continues then I guess the estimates dates will need to updated accordingly.. We already see 5/15 applications charged before the estimated...

One Question.. I am sooo inclined towards AUS as well because of better jobs for s/w engg there. What do you say?? shall I go ahead and risk possibly 5 lakhs INR.. (they have high Visa fee)

As INDIA is developing.. the lesser the quality of life here....

This is bound to pick pace as most of the applications will be sent around 1st May 2014 when the programe opened up..later the trickle of applications must have reduced. Hence in future we can expect faster response by CIC.

As it is with Satyakam, I also sent an email before receiving PER and on very next day of receiving PER mail, i got a reply for that query.

Good Morning:

Email was sent by CIO-Sydney dated 13 August 2014 to the email address provided on the application.

Application has been transferred to the Visa Office New Delhi.

I am 14 May applicant. Had applied last year too.
As per the latest communication CIC is working on 15th May applications.


But till now my CC has not been charged, nor there is any update against my last year's UCI no.

Kindly advice whether my application has been rejected or is still there is some hope.

Even pace is picked up... They are processing much more applications in a day then they were doing two weeks before..

You can make out from the PER sent by them in last week .. around 400 .. thats WOW... considering there pace earlier...

There are total 152 applicants up to 13th May whom have not been charged yet......

So no need to worry bro...

ShubanPaiK brother,u and ur family can do ur Medical from anywhere of the world...No need to be done from same place....So its possible....Since CIC max of medicals are now e-enabled medical center.

For the PP submission, this is a bit issue for since ur stays are temporary.....When u rcv ur PP, according to ur current situation, u can contact with NDVO....If u require more time to submit the PP on NDVO, then u can request them to extend the time....Although in this cases NDVO tells the applicants to knock them again when u are available to submit the PP to NDVO and cancel the eaarlier request.....

And yes they usuallly take 2-3 months atleast in avg comparing the last year....
