yes you can show PPF as POF

CanOl said:
POF copies needs to be given along with the application. This may be checked by authorities later on if required.
I guess PPF should be ok. Not sure though.

Please help
In Background declaration form, I have mentioned Personal history of travelling to USA on B1 visa for few days.
Now do i need to mention USA hotel address under last 10 year addresses question?

Thanks

Better if you mention. No harm in doing so.

Again, I didn't do this, and I really believe that CIC never meant to make it that complicated. The question says: "List all addresses where you have lived". In my opinion, an address where I have lived is not an address where I have stayed for a couple of months in a business trip. But again, that's only me :)
Thanks romar

Absolutely. You mention business travels in the Your Travels form only.

In Additional family information form IMM 5406 it has a pre printed relationship status so if my spouse is filling this form then he should write his name in spouse column and leave applicant column as blank since he is not accoumpying ? Is this correct or he should also write my name in applicant column? Second question in brother and sister column should I mention the name of my brother and sister in law as we'll ?

Hi everyone, I have just started the prep for IELTS ::) and booked it on 20th Sept. My question is at what stage do we need to show POF and by what time should I accumulate the money in my bank/FD. I am from India and I have PPF (Public Provident Fund), is it ok to this as POF?

Have you read section 15 of the Document Checklist?

You have posted 135 messages here and you don't know what PER stands for? Is that a joke of some sort?

You should have received 2 original copies from WES anyway. You are entitled to 2 original IELTS results from the British Council if you are applying to CIC (The center where I took the IELTS did not even ask for proof of application to CIC - they just sent me 2 original copies after telling them that I was applying to CIC.) So not a problem.

http://www.ielts.org/test_takers_information/getting_my_results/getting_my_results.aspx

IELTS | Test Takers - Getting my results

Test Report Form

Your Test Report Form will be posted to you 13 days after the test. All test centres will post your Test Report Form to you.

You will only receive one copy of your Test Report Form, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in these cases, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and UKBA must be provided.
It's not my case (or I hope so) but I didn't receive 2 originals of my IELTS test :(
Thanks!

Dear All Members,

I was a silent spectator in this forum for a long time :) I believe this is a wonderful place for all the FSW Applicants to share and receive any useful information just about any aspects of the application process. Hats off to the moderators for making this forum and especially this thread. This forum is the best place to track the progress of FSW applicants and the overall process (apart from the CIC website of course ;D).

Let me introduce myself....I'm a 1112 Applicant. I applied last year but my App was returned due to Over-cap. This time i made it to PER till date and Thanks to Almighty for that :)

Here are the details -

Application Received by CIC: May 13th, 2014
Mode of Payment: DD
Visa Office: New Delhi
PER Received Date: August 22nd, 2014

Moderators, Plz update the Spreadsheet.

Cheers :D

@ Seniors

As u all know today i received my PER and my file will soon be transferred to LVO for further processing (ECAS shows only App received on 9th May). The issue is that

1. I am going on annual leave after 2 week i.e. from 5th Sept till 27th Sept (3 weeks)
2. One of my friends, who is also 9th May applicant and received her PER on 15th Aug was informed by her Boss abt telephonic verification from LVO. She is not sure if it happened or her boss just pranked.
3. My boss (Dept Head) is also going on leave from 22 Sept for 2 weeks (after which there is 1 week national holiday)
4. My Ref letter was signed by my Dept Head and HR Head, along with stamp of Ministry of Commerce (which is used for verification of authorized signatory - HR head ... the stamp is in Arabic and LVO may not understand wht it means, but if verification is done by some third party or local embassy, they know the purpose of stamp as it common practice here).
5 I provided business card of Dept head and Team Leader.

Although as per past practice LVO has proved itself to be one of the slower VO with average time of 13 months but experience of my friend (if true), will means that verification either one I am on leave or my Dept Head is on leave (or both of us are on leave). However, Team Leader will be there. This situation is bothering me. I have no worries if my duties are confirmed by anyone, but how important is physical presence of my boss or myself. Note that i work in large reputable organization.

P.S: SS updated ... u guys may have the honor of viewing my details for the first time 8)
@ Century (the data entry admin) +1 for self updating plz (if karma not in action) as i have saved u from much effort. Also i have bookmarked and saved the update URL in separate file for future use.

If you or your boss are on vacation. If your boss doesn't answer his phone then they will call you on your cell phone asking why your boss is not answering your phone and they might clear queries with your instead of them or if someone from your office informs LVO that your boss is on leave for 2 weeks (if LVO calls) then they might call your boss again after 2 weeks. So don't worry about anything. :)

Thanks!
Can't you contact your Test Center and ask for a second copy? Why are you sending in a second application - are you worried that your NOC might be filled and you want to apply under a separate NOC? If you have to send in a second application (and your application was refused) without receiving the first back, why don't you send a copy with an explanation -- see the Document Checklist Section 9?
