Hi everyone, I have just started the prep for IELTS ::) and booked it on 20th Sept. My question is at what stage do we need to show POF and by what time should I accumulate the money in my bank/FD. I am from India and I have PPF (Public Provident Fund), is it ok to this as POF?

You must mention this trip in the "Your Travels" form. However, it is debatable whether you have to mention it in the Personal History question of the Background declaration form. I see many people advised you to do so. However, if I were you, I would only make sure to add a record for my work tenure at this company, and I would never take it that far by mentioning every business trip as a part of my Personal History.

Thanks for reply. Now the question is, do i need to mention USA hotel address in the addresses column? (Last 10 year addresses)

Hi guys,

My Brother applied under FSW (under NOC for Electronics Engineering) His applicatiion was received last June 21, 2014, what would be the next step or what would be the time frame fo rthem to Acknowledge? and What is PER?

Read the Document Checklist -- it's all outlined there.

We should show POF at time of applying, by the way which NOC are you applying.

Please help
In Background declaration form, I have mentioned Personal history of travelling to USA on B1 visa for few days.
Now do i need to mention USA hotel address under last 10 year addresses question?

Thanks

POF copies needs to be given along with the application. This may be checked by authorities later on if required.
I guess PPF should be ok. Not sure though.

Again, I didn't do this, and I really believe that CIC never meant to make it that complicated. The question says: "List all addresses where you have lived". In my opinion, an address where I have lived is not an address where I have stayed for a couple of months in a business trip. But again, that's only me :)

A question: How you can send a 2nd application without the originals of the WES and IELTS??

Thanks!
You should have received 2 original copies from WES anyway. You are entitled to 2 original IELTS results from the British Council if you are applying to CIC (The center where I took the IELTS did not even ask for proof of application to CIC - they just sent me 2 original copies after telling them that I was applying to CIC.) So not a problem.

Test Report Form

Your Test Report Form will be posted to you 13 days after the test. All test centres will post your Test Report Form to you.

You will only receive one copy of your Test Report Form, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in these cases, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and UKBA must be provided.
