I have not seen that CIC made a call to applicants in person..........

Hi Mayur, how do u come to know that CC went unsuccessful? Your got a msg on ur mobile from Bank or your Bank called you?
Which Bank's CC are u using assuming u r in India?

Could someone please tell me if one has to provide police verification certificates from multiple countries if one has worked and lived in 3 foreign countries in the last 10 years?

I worked in Netherlands from May-10 to Jun-11
worked in Switzerland from Oct-11 to Sept-12
Studied in the UK from Sept-12 to Nov-13
Was in India prior to May-10

Do I have to provide police verification from 4 countries?
If yes, I suppose it is going to be very complicated and time consuming..

Very easy and quick to get the PC from ACRO in the UK. http://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx Yes, you need PCC from all 4 countries in your case.

Yours is fine. I just sent mine (Aug 2013 version) on 19 Aug, and they released the new one on 20 Aug :-X

I believe you will only secure the Police Clearance for the latest 6 months you have stayed. Have you verified this with you agent?

Wait! CIC will inform you, normally they ask at the time of Medical request or additional document request.

Now just be relax!

Wait for PCC request from your Local VO, and FYI PPC's are generally valid for 1 year from date of issuance.

Your police clearance certificate is valid for a period of one year from the date it was issued. If the validity has expired before your visa is issued you will be requested to provide an updated police certificate from the country you are currently living in. If you have already submitted police certificates from other countries where you have not recently lived you will not have to provide an update.
