DEAR ALL,

I just recieved an email with subject "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada" stating my UCI and application number. Acknowledging my payment reciept and mentioning : Your application has now been placed into processing.

My questions are:
1) what does this mean?
2) what are chances for being accepted as it also says:
your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

3) Also when i try to check my online application status by inserting UCI number, it says there is no record or please check the number..
Please share your comments.....waiting for replies....THANKS a lot!

My consultant just forwarded to me today the PER email from CIC dated August 19, 2014.
This forum is really helpful to me in estimating when will I expect my application be processed or move to the next stage.. so thanks a lot to the makers and participants of this forum!

I got PER mail from CIC today.
Thanks a lot for all your support & Guidance

Can you please guide me on below query.
Currently I am on assignment in Jakarta Indonesia and will be in jakarta till feb-2015.
My Visa office : New Delhi,India & my spouse & kid are in India
Once we get the request for MR , by what time we should be submitting the medical reports , I belive 60 days
Also at the latter stage when the pass port is requested by NDVO , by what time we should be submitting the Passport, I belive 30 days .

Since my spouse and kid are in Hyd,India , can they do the MR from India and Can I do MR at Jakarta.

Also, for the second part on Passport request , Is ther any means that I can send my Passport back to India for PR stamping or is ther any way out here.
Once we submit the Pass port to NDVO , How much time they usually take for PR stamping..

Please advice and guide me on this.

I received a mail and UCI is written on it when i check online status with given UCI with or without - but we have received a message " we are unable to find your record"

please advice

PUT YOUR DOB , SURNAME , COUNTRY YOU WILL RECEIVE THE DETAILS , I HAVE CHECKED THE STATUS AFTER ONE WEEK OF DD ENCSHED

Question: What should I put in the new update IMM 0008_3e(schedule 3 economic) class form in section 12B, if my experience is like 7 month for a job?

New form only have a check box for 1 year nothing for less than 1 year.

Tough to say !

I was wondering does CIO accept work experiences below 1 year , at all?

I know for the occupations on the eligible list, the experience needs to be continuous for a period of 1 year.

Now the question is for non-eligible occupations (Even though Skill level O, A or B) does it also have to be continuous 1 year to be worthy of points ?

Ok. I will just leave the check box blank for exp less than 1. But will mention the job and all.
