I lived in HK for close to 9 months in 2007, so do I require PCfrom HK also or wait for the VO to request.

If you lived in any country for more than 6 months then you need PCC for that country.

DEAR ALL,

I just recieved an email with subject "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada" stating my UCI and application number. Acknowledging my payment reciept and mentioning : Your application has now been placed into processing.
Congrats.
My questions are:
1) what does this mean? That means your application has passed completness check and has also passed initial eligibility screening.
2) what are chances for being accepted as it also says: Still many important stages are remaining i.e. second eligibility review (at VO), background check, medical check, etc. if any problem in any of these can lead you towards rejection.
your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

3) Also when i try to check my online application status by inserting UCI number, it says there is no record or please check the number.. As you have received PER, try to login with file no. It might help.

4) does background check includes financial ststement recheck from the bank? Background check is kind of security check. Financial statement recheck is part of eligibilty review. If they doubt they can ask you to resubmit updated Financial statement.So if my funds are bit short than when should i try to credit to the minimum required limit? Why would you have short in that account? Try to keep little bit more fund than required for FSW. Not less for sure, because if they find out that you are running short then they might put you file in "review required" pile. They usually dont ask for it, but its CIC.

P.S. Not trying to scare you, but just wanted to let you risk of keeping less fund.

If you received PER email then try to login in with you application no. It might work.

Hi Seniors, I am a 15th may applicant. One of my friend on same date (not in SS) got his CC charged yesterday.
Both of us have same time stamp and same NOC and appl recieved by Miller for both.

But still no activity on my CC. Getting worried now Is everything alryt or i need to do something?

Checked with bank , no transaction was tried/rejected untill yesterday. I also did a dummy transaction to confirm CC is active.

Can anyone suggest what should i do? Any contact no. of CIO where i can confirm if my appl is still there and not rejected?

I see two check boxes for Fee payment in check list document, one is "Original" other is "Copy".

My payment option is by credit card, So if we check for "Original" only, i think it is correct.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Question: What should I put in the new update IMM 0008_3e(schedule 3 economic) class form in section 12B, if my experience is like 7 month for a job?

New form only have a check box for 1 year nothing for less than 1 year.
