Of course, you need to have the PCC from Canada also. Since you were resident there.

No, for Canada, you need not submit a PCC. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/canada.asp

Congratulation to All who got PER, ECAS update & fee ecashed.

DEAR ALL,

I just recieved an email with subject "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada" stating my UCI and application number. Acknowledging my payment reciept and mentioning : Your application has now been placed into processing.

My questions are:
1) what does this mean?
2) what are chances for being accepted as it also says:

your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

3) Also when i try to check my online application status by inserting UCI number, it says there is no record or please check the number..
Please share your comments.....waiting for replies....THANKS a lot!

many congrats I am also a 9th may applicant got PER :D ;D

3) when i try to check my online application status by inserting UCI number, it says there is no record or please check the number.
