Hi Experts,

I have applied under FSW 2014 and my application reached on 14th May, 2014.
A month after application I fly to US on H1B. Being outside India, I have no way to check whether my DD is encashed. Neither I have received any email from CIC,

Experts please guide me on what should I do now.

1) Should I update CIC about my visit to US. If yes, when should I do that ? Should I wait for my PER ?
2) I have not sent mine as well as my spouse PCC with an application. Please suggest how can I get it now. Can I get in US from Indian Consulate ?
4) Can I get through Medical in US itself ?
3) As I was in India when I apply, my Visa office is New Delhi, Can I change it now to US ?

Ca n you please tell me what is the format of UCI # , It is only numbers or alpha numeric as I m the last year applicant and the replied me my UCI on mailed

its 8 digit number if your file is returned it is written on the form with pen

have they issued you PCC on letterhead or on plain paper with sign and seal?

they issue on a plain A4 paper with sign and seal.

My application reached cic on 13th May ; NOC 2174, my CC has not yet been charged !! Is my file coming back??

Looks like they are charging 13/14/15. May be they have a round robin roaster of 3 people for 3 date. So have some patience.

Waiting time is too long and full of uncertainty . I am 12th June applicant of NOC: 2173 :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

And then I hear from my colleague, who's friend is in Canada ,about few obstructions for foreigners while hunting job .

As in, soft skills are of paramount importance , so one must have soft skills as per Canadian culture . So one more thing to work on . :-\ :-\

Surprising that photo studios are not aware of the requirements.

The photo should be 45*35 MM, white background and face should occupy 80% of the photo height.

Try Kodak studio in the Hypercity of Inorbit mall. I took from there. Last year my friend took from the same studio and he got his Canada PR last year. So I went there and got it. Just go and say Canada PR and Matt finishing. They take around 45 min.

I am referring the paragraph above the table you are mentioning. It does not directly mention the word "Employment History" but it meant that. I am too lazy to write the paragraph as those cannot be copied and pasted .

[size=9pt] Where does it say 'employment history' there? It in fact says "name of company, employer, school, facility, as applicable" in the last column. I hope we are looking at the same thing i.e. question # 8 Personal History of IMM 5669 (12-2012)E form (took this from the bottom of the page) that both you and I used in May 2014

Today I received a mail from CIO with UCI & Application Receipt No.

Application Sent Date: 6-MAY-14
Received Date: 12-MAY-14

What does this mail indicates? Does that mean my documents are complete and I have met the criteria (total points, qualification & experience required for the position, funds etc.)

Please share your views.
