CIC seems to have gone officially crazy in that case.

But are you sure it was CIC who called. Usually they email.

I hope it wasn't any of your friend playing prank on you. Things happen.

No i have called them i have my uci number because i have also applied last year but that time it was my mistake i choosed qubec as the place of destination in fsw . But this time everything was correct i checked 100 times my application before sending.

I have been regularly following this forum,and now finally joined in.I havr a question,i applied on 21 july under 4243 catagory,through a consultant.Other day i was rechecking my forms,and saw that i by mistake has writen payer name as mine,whearas it should be my mother name as Dd was remited by her.want to ask all expereiencrd forum member that does this lead to Rejection of application?However rest all form are correctly filled in..please advice....

Finally my application is in the hands of CIC! After months of preparation and stressing about forms, wes and ielts, I am now privileged to stress about cc charges and per - and I am really looking forward to it.

It looks very strange, during the conversation what was used for verification, Passport Number or UCI number?
Communicate again and explain that you have not applied in that category etc.

Please keep here posted any development in this regard.

Hi Guys,

I have received PER email on 14 Aug and my application's status in ECAS is IN PROCESS.

Q1) Do i need to reply on this PER email ? (like confirmation to start processing from my side or will cic has automatically started it after PER ).

Q2) What does IN PROCESS status means ? Where is my application now and who is processing it ? (cic or visa office ? )

Q3) What are the next steps after IN PROCESS ?

You dont need to reply any email or do anything.

All you have to do is calm down and wait for your MR request. Your file has already been transferred to local VO for processing.

Dear Deepali, it does not matter who made the DD for you. It sounds like you are the principal applicant so you will be paying fee, not your mom. your name should be there and thats correct. Good luck!!!!

Which email address do you use to contact CIC and check the status?

I sent to below email address and also got replied back in 30 days. I did not provide passport number but you can if you want to.

Hello I am a 30th may application my application is returned on 1st of august because of no evidence of phd and no evidence of arranged employment , but i haven't applied in these two categories . My points were completed simply as Ilets 18, age 12, education 21, spouse 5 , blood relation 5 , experience 9 . I dont know why did they gave this reason . I got all this information on call. Please help me where the mistake was.

This is strange. CIC never calls. When application is returned you must have got a letter stating the reason for it.

I am from Punjab, my permanent address in my passport is from Punjab, but i have been living in Harayana for last 3 years.
I already have my PCC from Punjab, do i also need to submit PCC from Harayana?
