seems people are educated enough not to even realize this is not related to FSWP only but beyond! people are welcome to clean the mess and make it tidy......some learners will always keep things messy and untidy!

Why do you assume that its only "Asian men" that force their wives to change last names? It is a common practice in the west too including Canada. I am not saying it is right or wrong for women to change their last name after marriage but just trying to make it clear to you that it is a very common thing in almost every culture in the world. I don't think most men care about the change in last name. I haven't forced my wife to change her last name and I have been living in the U.S. for 10 years. In fact, I have to explain to people (banks, government agencies) that she is my wife although she has a different last name.

Thank you all for the response. I am clear now on FSW CAP.. Since, I work full time as Software Engineer in Canada, do I need to show funds around 18k CAD for a family +1 kid to apply in FSW? OR If I show my pay stub that should be fine? I only been here for 5 months..

I got a request to send my passport. Can you please confirm the following:

1. Is this the correct mailing address to send our passport from USA using Fedex courier service:

2. Did you print the shipping label from canada post? if yes, did you use Xpresspost USA service? What did you enter in the "From" address?

Highly unlikely for NOC2174 and NOC1112. Will be interesting to see the next set of updates from CIC. None on September 1st as it is a public holiday in Canada...What do you think?

Well I still think that if the cap is around 400 for may end applications..it can go till mid August as june-july apps are not that much (assuming that people who really wanted to apply for PR already sent their apps by mid May, rest of them would be mid-serious apps for june-july and finally people like me who just gave it a shot ., What do you think?
