Today I received a mail from CIC with details of UCI & another number (Application:E000XXXXX). Is this what called the PER mail. They have not asked me to provide the PCC and medical yet though. Please advise.

I am now filling the forms . I have few doubts. Pls help me in clearing the below doubts for "Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]"

1. Have you received your Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ)? -- They have told to give CSQ if I select 'Yes' and the date when I applied for CSQ if select 'NO'. First of all I dont know what this is , How to fill this field No, them leaev CSQ blank
2. Personal details que 2 –Have you ever used Nickname –- do we need to mention the nickname , that we use in to call in our home? But the nickname is not official. Pls advice no
3. I dont have UCI, so should we leave it blank or mark as ‘NA' blank
4. For current country of residence –- I am citizen of India. Living here since my birth.do we need to mention the from & to dates?
5. Previous countries of residence –- I haven't stayed in anyother country. so should we give NA or leave it blank? NA
6. Have you been previously been married –- Not previously married. So should we give NA if we select ‘No'? sure
7. All correspondence will go to this address unless you indicate your email address –- What does this mean? If you want emails enter an email, otherwise they will communicate with you by post
8. I don't have a fax , what to mention in that NA
9. NATIONAL IDENTITY DOC – PA AND SPOUSE –- What NID shall we show in this. I am from india. what to mention in doc number, country of issue, issue date and expiry date? Ask Indians on the forum.
10. CURRENT OCCUPATION ? My current designation is network consulting engineer. Should I mention this or should I mention the designation as per the NOC code suggest both, separated by a slash, but others differ on this
11. Intended occupation? My current designation is network consulting engineer & I would like to work as same. Should I mention this or should I mention the designation as per the NOC code suggest you enter whatever you entered in current occupation
12. Under dependent's section –- what to fill under ‘dependant type' check the guide to see what type of dependant you are sponsoring. Spouse has no dependant type.



Please help me in clearing these doubts. Thanks

[size=9pt] Hi, As long as you have not worked in that company since the reference letter was given (and that too in the same position, if it was position specific) then it is fine to use it. I had mine from 2009 and 2010 and it worked wonders. Cheers!

If i understand you properly, after issuing the letter if i dint worked in that company, then that letter is good to go... Please correct me if am wrong.

Info: The letter which i got in 2006 is after my resignation is accepted. I dint joined that company, After a year or so that company got closed.

Hi All,

I am in very tense situation. I have filed my application through one consultant from Mumbai whose head office is in Chandigarh. 20 Days back I had sent my documents to Mumbai office for review and then it was forwarded it to their head office in Chandigarh. Now, when I called their Chandigarh office they are saying that they haven't received my documents whereas their Mumbai office is saying that they have mailed all documents 2 weeks back. I am really fed up with this consultant, and now worried that my documents might have been misplaced.

Guys please help me, really don't know what to do in this situation. I am really worried about My original IELTS and Demand Draft.

Is there any way to file a complaint against this consultant.

Please advise!

Yes you can use that UCI. If fee in encashed you will be able to see your ECAS.

ahhh they still didnt credit my consultant cc so i must wait till the fee is cashed ?

my application was received on july 29 , how much will i wait more for them to cash the fee ?
