Want to share good news, i have received PER mail from CIC an hour back. My details are :

Application sent : 5th May 2014
Application received: 9th May 2014
CC Charged : 16th July 2014
PER Received : 18th August 2014
Received by : Mike at 12:39 pm
NOC : 2171

Could anyone let me know what are the next steps ?

Also i'am unable to update the SS, can admin do it on my behalf ??

Congratulations, just fill in a new entry with your updates. The admins will delete the older entry on your behalf. Cheers.

Finally with God's blessings and all your support I received PER today.

Few Things to note:
Forgot to write name in native language.
I had two different names so gave affidavit for that.
Also, only gave experience letter for last companies though provided every detail of current company.
Once again, big celebration time. I'm gonna give food to 100 poor people tomorrow.

[size=9pt] Interesting they stated GPA on it - where was this degree from - country or institute whichever you are okay to share?

Don't think I ever heard from anyone that GPA was stated on anyone's WES evaluation...that is new to me! :

I didn't got the report yet , its on the way. but in VIEW report its showing summary: total grades :*** and GPA :as stated previously.

Well i m from India.

Tell me how much GPA is required or grades?

Dear Oscar7,

No worries for GPA. This is due to selected the evaluation of course by course. Mostly GPA score is for higher studies and not for immigrating. Immigration people only need canadian equivalency status. If u choose course by course evaluation wes, u will get 2 reports ( Canadian equivalency + GPA scores).

Few things noteworthy about my app -

1. I sent additional documents which were received by Mike on May 24th. I forgot to fill my name in native language in my original app.

2. I used Employee Provident Fund as POF

3. I got a reference letter from my manager on the company letter head.

4. For the reference letter of my previous company I had used the NOC description from 2173 and 2174 merged the ones which are applicable to me and used the sentences as is. No change.

[size=9pt] As someone said GPA doesn't matter. We are going to Canada not writing IAS or IIT entrance!

Canada would be equally lucky to have whatever they get (as we would be lucky to have what we get from Canada)
