one thing that surprise me is the footnote.....The number of complete federal skilled worker applications received since May 4, 2014 is an estimate.

what does that means does this means that application number is till 4th May , 2014 applications.

FSW 14 started on May 4, 2014

The checklist is quite comprehensive. You can go ahead.
IELTS Score : 23 points(L-5 R-6 W- 6 S- 6)
Education : 21 points
Age : 12 points
Work Ex : 13 points
Adaptability : 5 points

TOTAL : 74 points

Hello experts
I applied for USA PCC immediately after applying for FSW on may 7th and I have PCC dated 2nd june 2014. I heard that it is only valid for 3 months but I have not received medical request yet and 3 months about to end in sept 2nd 2014. do i need another PCC from USA ?

I have done some math on NOC 2174 based on the latest official CAP updates.

Conclusion: CAP was already reached for NOC 2174 on July 17th!!

Math:

313 PER for this NOC were received until yesterday (Official CIC number). And in the spreadsheet, 85 PER were received for this NOC until yesterday.
Thus, 85/313 = 27% of all 2174 applicants worldwide are using our spreadsheet.
Assuming this percentage is steady over time (I hope it isn't), we know that application #270 in the spreadsheet would be application #1000 worldwide.
Looking into the SS, I found that application #270 has reached CIO on 7/17.

I don't like to be pessimistic, but I don't like to deceive myself either. Maybe it's time to move on with another project in life, at least until EOI is on :)

You are not eligible for FSW entry with that TRF (L<5). Retake IELTS.

@Oscar 7/seniors,

There are 50 total occupation categories. Total cap is 25000. In the website they are showing 1000 per noc. But as per statistics it will be 500 count per noc.what this magic cio is doing. Through some light.. ...

PCC are good for 1 year.
There is a good post by Oscar few pages back, please havea look.

If you're submitting the PCC WITH THE APPLICATION, then the PCC must have been obtained within 3 months of the application submission date. If you're submitting the PCC when the local VO asks for it, then the PCC is valid for an year from the date of issuance. In other words, you should be fine unless the local VO asks for your PCC AFTER 2 June 2015 (Note the 2015)!

I doubt that the percentage will remain constant. ..In fact the sharp increase in the cap update is due to the major rush of applications from the 7th to maybe 12th of May...should have slowed down after that I hope
