Don't think too much...send your application... You can check ss and cap status to have rough Idea about your chance...

Suggest you to go ahead and file the application the soonest possible.

"As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015."

My question is for 50 occupation - Shouldn't be the overall cap of 50000?????????

Why is it only 25000.

Firstly that is a very late question WOW....

Secondly .. you are right them CIC people suck at Math !!!!



Finally -> It is a total of 25000 for all NOC and 1000 per NOC ... whichever comes first. ... oh and 500 for PHD stream

Dear Immigration Experts,

Please advise me on this case:

I have applied for Canada Immigration and I have received my PER 3 weeks ago and may case is under processing...

I am single and I am planning to get married soon, so which of the following options is better:

1. Getting Married while my application under processing and update my sat us with the VO ....
2. Wait until getting the PR Card, then getting married and apply for spouse sponsorship....

What do you recommend and how the marriage will delay my case processing for option 1.

We are in the same boat..i think option 1 will be better...
It may delay your process but better than sponsoring

Have you ever used any other name (Eg: Nickname, maiden name, alias, etc.)

I have my husband's name as my last name in my passport. In my birth certificate, it is simply "Annie". There is no last name in my birth certificate. So what should I write here.

Please help.

By the time u will get ur ielts result u will get better idea of speed n number of seats filled in 0113

1st of all congrats for getting AOR.I believe u r 2013 applicant & VO is Singapore.

For getting MRP u dont need to get police verification, because only new Passport needs police verification.I would suggest u to apply at ur earliest to get the MRP.U can apply online at passport website and visit Passport office to deposit money for obtaining the MRP & take photo for MRP. Normally it wud take 21 days to issue MRP.

I would suggest u to contact ur Visa office regarding ur Passpport change, VO will definitely outline the next procedures

Got my AOR on 14 Aug; Now I want to change my Handwritten passport with,MRP as the old one will expire in December 2014; I am planning to apply for MRP next week; I wl sumbit old PP, BID copy with one set of application as mentioned onthe site (online application)...please suggest that passport office will issue me passport without SB Police verification? or the Agargaon PP office will put me in hassle???? pls share your experinces......
Also how to notify SGVO after,geeting my new MRP? email,or mail? Any form to be filled up? plese help

According to CIC only 6 applications have been accepted

To those who used DHL as courier and wants to know who received their package:

Contact Center > Express Parcels/Documents > select country > Go
Comment Type: Tracking Shipment ID

Send a query into the comment box and ask who received the package, they will reply in the same day. I hope this helps.
