I am not talking about the total number of applications submitted. Please refer to the original post I was replying to.

I mean that once total max. cap (25000) of all occupation categories is reached, any further applications will be out even their particular categories caps are not yet filled. So, one should not only pay attention to whether individual cap is reached or not, but also the total number of applications (all categories) should be taken into account. Can't just assume it is safe when you see the individual cap is not filled yet.

If any of my documents are in Urdu (Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate) and I get them translated in English, do I need to get an affidavit for each translated document or get it notarized? If affidavit is required, Can I get a combined one affidavit for all documents translated or a separate one for each document?

U need translation only n get it notarized. Make sure to send copy of the original documents as well along with translation. No need of affidavit

Thanks so much for the reply kollin! Yes, my department head (or supervisor) will only be the one to sign my letter. It's all 3 pages because of the 5 positions with different job descriptions. I just wonder if every page should be signed also. Because cic might think i just made up the 1st two pages. ;D

Adding to what Kollins has already told you, you can add footer " Page --- of --- " at the end of each page. This way it will eradicate doubts.

According to the spreadsheet built by the members of this forum, the estimated number of submitted apps worldwide until today is less than 8,000. It is unlikely we reach the 25,000 boundary by mid November.

Boss

may 14 charging going on now.

your chance to give away your money is atleast 6 weeks away.

One more query. I am translating a document in English, now I have to notarize that original translated document or should I get a photocopy of that translated document and get it notarized. In other words, We have to send the original translated document to CIC or a photocopy of that document?

For translated documents you need to provide the below:

1. the English or French translation; and
2. an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
3. a certified copy of the original document.
