1. Brother, 8th May has only been started. Even 7th May has not been done.
2. In process means your DD has been encashed and your application is complete. 1 in 100 could get rejected after encashment. It is not worthwhile to be anxious at all for 1% negative positively.
3. If you anxious, you need to be anxious for whole 6-7 years as even people asked to leave Canada after getting PR. Anxiety for this long period will drench all your energy.

Be positive; Enjoy the surrounding. PER will come automatically.

Dear Ashif_eee,

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate.

1) Can I go there personally and give the PCC by hand alongwith the cover letter mentioning UCI, Application number etc. ? I live in New Delhi only.

2) I have quit my current job this week and not working anywhere right now. Please tell me do I need to inform New Delhi Visa Office about this. Please note that I did give the reference letter (roles and responsibilities) for this current company when I send my file to CIC. As per the PER email, it says you should inform the VO about change of employer/occupation. In my case, it's not change of employer but yes as I have quit the company.

3) Also, tell me if I inform the VO that I have quit my current job this week already and not working anymore anywhere right now, will this have an impact on my application? Right now, the online status says, "In Process - We have received your application on May 5".

Yes u can send it to NDVO by courier and they will accept it (as long as-- ur file is on NDVO)....

Since it is already been two months...U can assume ur file is with NDVO....

And sending PCC earlier of MR will not guarantee that ur file will be processed faster ....

Since usually they review files according the rcvd date by VO and they try to maintain it...

U can send it to relieve urself...:D

Thats all!

I am assuring -100% that it will not impact ur file in either case....

I have seen lots of cases with such issue....:)

So stay relax and chill.... 8) 8)

Thanks ashif bhai for giving relaxed feelings :)

Dear,

1. No u have to send it by courier to NDVO address.

2. U can inform it to NDVO sending a CSE...this will be enough

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi

3. No it should not have any impact for ur app processing....So do not worry for that.....

Good luck

Finally, being May 8th applicant, i received PER mail on 13-Aug.

Thanks to everyone for valuable suggestions/guidance.

One question,
how tough is the criteria is during the final review/decision on eligibility by visa office, as per below statement?? Any idea with past experience of someone in this forum, please?

"your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office."

I have one more question :-)

Is there any way we can check the status of our sent application before getting the PER status?

Cheers,
Prarthu

If u have applied earlier on Canada, then u might get a UCI number through which u can might check app status ...

Otherwise there is no option available....:)

;D ;D ;D ... PER

08th-May : App @ CIC - 8:30 AM (Signed by alrighty Mike)
09th-July : DD Payment : DD from TD-Bank (Toronto Branch)
12th-July : ECAS status 'in process'. First time applicant : got the UCI from the help desk phone number agent (you have to try 3 to 4 times to get the right agent).
13th-Aug : PER (Case Officer - SL )

Visa Office : CPC-Ottawa
NOC: 2174 (FSW1)

Even though I came to know about this forum, after I sent my application, it has been a great place to hang out with all other friends and to read about other applicant's background, struggle, victories, mishaps and sometimes funny, silly doubts and answers.

Thanks all for the great help :-*, and all the best for others who are waiting for PER and CC/DD charge :).

(I can't access google docs, so please someone update my information in SS. Thank you!)

Congrats sk13

Buddy,

Dont think about this much....

They will check the NOC vs ur job duties more deeply, will do ur job verification by reading ur papers or by random checking on ur employers(which is not that much common)...

So if the documentation is ok and the info u have provide are true and right one the there is nothing to be worried...

U will get ur MR/PP request so much easily.....:D

Good luck....
