Hello ,
I have some doubts on FSW.
Is the current cap number of 887 , the total number of applications recieved by CIC or the number of PR issued ? Based on this count is it worth to send an application in octpber ?

Current count is based upon number of PER issued by CIC..well ! it is worth or not depends upon NOC you belong to

Hello,
How much time does it take for application to come back (in India) if it is rejected due to any reason ?? A case that I know, application was sent on 7th May and there is absolutely no news about it and neither the package has been returned until now.

well I think first you should contact your CC/DD banker and see if your fee is been charged or not..... Otherwise, it may take 2 weeks to a month to return ur app.

Question 1: I got my PCC on 4 Dec 2013. I applied for FSWP on 7 May which makes it 5 months old. They recomend for PCC which is 3 months old. I got my PER on 25 July and expecting the processing to complete by Nov (not sure if I am being too optimist) i.e before my PCC expires. Do you Think, I should still be ready with Another copy of PCC, in case they ask for, also considering if my processing gets delayed.


Question 2: I have been in Sweden since april. If i stay here till october, i would need to give a PCC from sweden as well coz i will complete 6 months here. If I have to give Sweden PCC, should i still consider arranging for Another PCC from India (as asked above)

Today I have waited all day long for the CC re-attempt from CIO for the decline tranx of yesterday... but no luck till now !!!!

After how many they try CC again if first attempt declined,

Do you have nay mail id/contact number of CIO to write mail and talk to explain my issue.

Since CIC has already started to charge CC/DD of FSW14, U are going to receive ur PER email (positive Eligibility Review) soon. This will contain ur application Number and UCI.

U will receive ur PER email from the below CIC email ID :


Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca


Above ID may have space, u will need to consider without space.

U can Keep this ID on safe list of ur email account. Since this email sometimes go to Junk/spam older. So also check this folders for ur expected email.....

I have a question for you. I am a 2174 applicant and my VO is New Delhi, India. I got my CC charged on 29 May and got my PER on 18 June. So, it's already 2 months now since I received my PER. But, I have not got any AOR, email, or any communication from New Delhi Visa Office.

1) You said we have the provision to send PCC before our Medical request. What does this mean exactly?
2) Do you mean that we can send a cover letter to NDVO mentioning our UCI, Application Number and other details and say please find attached the PCC ?
3) Will they accept it?
4) Will this make our processing fast?

Its totally up to NDVO....

Although what I can assume NDVO may not ask u for FBI (since u have not entered there after collecting this PCC), bu they gonna ask u for the indian PCC which can be collected in short time i guess.

Usually NDVO asks for PCC along with Medical request.... So u can wait for the medical and PCC request...Which will be more convenient in my sense...

U still have the provision to send PCC before ur Medical req if u wish....

Yes u can send it to NDVO by courier and they will accept it (as long as-- ur file is on NDVO)....

Since it is already been two months...U can assume ur file is with NDVO....

And sending PCC earlier of MR will not guarantee that ur file will be processed faster ....

Since usually they review files according the rcvd date by VO and they try to maintain it...

U can send it to relieve urself...

In my case we knew the passport would expire in about 6 months so we applied for renewal early and we attached our acknowledgement of application for renewal to our application along with a copy of the old passport.

If you have already applied with the old passport, not stamped CANCELLED, and the stamping occurred after your application, I think you are fine. Once your local VO contacts you, you can let them know your wife has renewed her passport and provide all the necessary information about the new passport.

First of all calculate or sum up the total working hrs of ur part time job and convert it to year assuming 30hr per week (which is CIC recommended)....

As per ur details u should get 5 yrs work exp which will give u 13 points....

Contacted the CC company several times with no result, and now it seems certain that appl will be back.
It's been 3 months and no news, waiting for e-mail answer to come.
