Thanks Oscar for the advise. I was reviewing the spreadsheet and still see that there are some 1st and 2nd May applicants which either have charged CC/DD (but no PER) or their application is sitting idle at VO. I would like to know if the data represented in the spreadsheet is accurate.
Spreadsheet can't be 100% accurate because no one can force anyone to update it for any change. Unless you make people believe that if you don't update in SS, it'll impact on your file :P

Try emailing them. If you can't get thru them then you need not worry as long as your CC / DD gets charged. Because you will be able to notify your local VO of address change once your file is transferred.

Thanks for the info, I had one more question. If I see the CIC website the total no of applications received for NOC 2174 is 197. Does this number only includes the completed applications for those applicants who received the PER till now?

As my application reached on 12th June, does my application fall under 197 or will it be eligible only after completeness check and when I recieve the PER?

I hope you understand my question.

Thanks,
Vikj

I disagree. Though the sample titles can be a useful guide, they are irrelevant to CIC. What matters is matching the applicant's job duties with the duty descriptions in the NOC, including the lead statement.

1114 has caused a lot of frustration as it seems to be a catch-all category for finance people who don't fit under the other finance NOCs, and under "main duties" there is one bullet point for each of several different types of finance jobs, and the heading indicates that these are duties for only SOME of the occupations under this category. As such I think it is difficult to craft a good experience letter for this NOC.

What I suggest someone to do for this category is to write a letter that clearly describes one of the occupations listed in the NOC. If that title is mentioned in the "main duties" bullet points, the job description should hit all the key words of that bullet point, just as for any other NOC. If the title dos not have its own bullet point in the NOC, the job description should describe in some detail the nature of the job, an hit keywords that one finds under a google search of that job title.

That's the best way I can think of to prepare a letter under this NOC, and given that CIC reviewers are not knowledgeable in these fields, I think it is very difficult to say what their criteria for reviewing it will be.

Poor showing by HRSDC.

sir what is ur profession .....which company you are working with....i have also applied under 1113 please send me personal massage as email.....

Adding to Manish's analysis, it is clear that CIC's average speed is around 2500 applications every 4 months.

This means that roughly all applicants up till today, August 13, will be processed before end of year. I also expect the speed to rise a little bit because the number of rejections may slightly increase. My justification for this is that the applicants of the first half of May are more experienced people who may also happen to be re-applying for PR after failing in 2013. But that's just a guess that cannot be quantified.

Just to update you guys that CIC doesn’t give any points for my previous experience of over 2 years. I attached offer letter, confirmation letter, and release letter. i was unable to provide job description on company letter head. I submit notarized self written JD letter. That they didn’t recognize as a proof of job to be consider for a point.

I think these days CIC is rejecting applications on minor issues. we all knows worldwide ones you left the company it next to impossible to get any job related letters on company letterhead.

I hope this will help you in your documents preparation.

Still I am unable to understand how they give me 20 points in language test. that result in rejection by 1 point.

Good evening friends,

This is with regards to filling the forms.

Spouse details are mentioned in the generic application form.

Should the primary and secondary applicants fill the additional dependants declaration form ?

Hello Friends,

You can submit a birth certificate affidavit , usually, one can be secured from legal institutions
