hey experts, I'm a 1112 applicant and CIC received my file at May 12th,2014, can anyone tell me if there is a chance i can fall within the cap? i haven't heart anything from consultant, just worried. Thank you so much!!!

Unless your consultant is monitoring your CC/DD, you probably won't hear anything until your PER e-mail which will take at least 2 more weeks because 12th and 13th May applications are still being checked for completeness and are just having their fees charged.

Given the cap updates by CIC I'd say there is 100% chance you are in the cap, assuming all was in order on your application, you just have to sit tight and wait for PER notification from your consultant. I know the wait is agonizing. Good luck!

DD charged-11th July

hi all! id like to know what to submit as proof of funds? is printed 3 months online bank statement ok? or do we need to request official statement from the bank? please advise. thanks a lot.

Bank statement is perfectly fine. Even 1 month at this point. Your local VO may ask for more months later.

Try emailing them. If you can't get thru them then you need not worry as long as your CC / DD gets charged. Because you will be able to notify your local VO of address change once your file is transferred.

I would like to know , how long does it normally take an application to be returned back to its sender.

my application reached CIC on 16 June 2014

Why do you think your application will be returned?

Right now your application is sitting unopened on a shelf somewhere, and it will probably stay that way for another couple of months. If for some reason it is incomplete and is returned from you it will be returned by regular post. So you are looking at sometime in October I would guess.

dont worry dear all is fine i did from dhl aswell dhl ha ssend ur package out for deilivery to third party(100% sure) now next sttaus will be arrived sort facility nova scotia 9thats a 3rd party for dhl) den next stataus will be deilivered directly within 48 hrs

my application is still in NOVA Scotia area!!! i have sent my application on 6th aug.. 8 days!!! but till now it did not reached!!
they took 4 days to send Nova Scotia from Ontario Service Area!! DHL is taking tooomuch time..

Please help me...

I'm waiting for my Wife's new passport, and it's really irritating and killing my patience.

My wife's old passport was sealed as cancelled.

The only option is i have to wait for my Wife's new passport

OR

Can a send the copy of the cancelled passport and giving an explanation letter about the passport change. will it suffice...
Whether it will work or not.

Please experts, give your valuable suggestion....

Also, (If any one come across the same issue) please let me know if any real incident happened before.....

Raj, I got the impression from your prior post that you had already sent your application before your wife's passport was cancelled.

If you haven't sent the application yet, I do not suggest applying with a cancelled passport. You need a valid passport to apply.
