My cousin is almost ready with his package. But he is confused at one point. He is claiming points (blood relation) from his maternal uncle. The issue he is facing is that DOB of his mother is 23 and same is mentioned in her 10th certificate. In her passport the date is 28th. He is in confusion which date to mention. His maternal Uncle also took PR and then became citizen and probably might have provided details of all his siblings along with DOB. Would CIC cross check this or what.

Regards

I didn't use any phone number in my case

@Thomas1987 My courrier asked for the same thing.
I just gave him the call center number of CIC. It's a paper work thing that the courier needs to fulfill. Just give them what they want :)

Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

Thanks for your reply Future_Canadian.

I have an email from my current HR department stating they do not provide job reference letter. Can i attached that email along with affidavit.
Or
If my colleague provide my job duties on official email id or on plain paper will that work. I am working with this company from last 2 years. I am planning to apply under NOC 0111.

I got a job reference letter from my previous employer but 20% of job duties are matching with NOC 0111. In this company i have 3 years of exp.

Please help.

Thanks

You can attach that e-mail for the purpose of explaining why you cannot get an official letter, but it won't make self-attested duties acceptable. They are not acceptable.

Yes, the solution is to get a colleague, who was in a position to know your duties and explains in the letter how he was in a position to know your duties, to give a personal reference letter on plain paper. I have done this for one of my jobs.

For your previous employer, if only 20% of the job duties are matching 0111, you are very unlikely to get credit under 0111. I suggest you find the NOC which best matches your job duties and enter that one in schedule 3. Hopefully, you have another letter from another employer that better matches 0111 that you can use to fulfill the minimum one year in your primary NOC. If not, I suggest you get a better letter from that previous employer before you apply.

JUST RECEIVED PER FROM CONSULTANT
GLAD :-* :D

NOC: 2174
Application Received Date: 7th May
CC Charged date: 3 rd July
PER DATE: 12th August

IMP: I only submitted the reference letters from last two companies and salary slip and experience letter from my current organisation.

My Experience with CIC: CIC has no defined rules for processing applications and its more of fate with them. They might reject a application for no reason and sometimes they give a second chance to the candidate to submit remaining docs in laster stage.

ALL THE BEST EVERY ONE

congrats!

I actually was interested to know my NOC of this job and found this:

1422 Data entry clerks
Data entry clerks input coded, statistical, financial and other information into computerized databases, spreadsheets or other templates using a keyboard, mouse, or optical scanner, speech recognition software or other data entry tools. They are employed in the private and public sectors.

Unfortunately the NOC roles fall under Skill Level C - not a sale-able duty ??? ??? ???

:D :D :D

"Just received my PER!" - Want to update it ASAP! CIC please send it!!

Congrats Buddy!!

Thanks a lot guys for your help. I have another question.

As proof of work experience, I only submitted the work experience letter from my employer adhering to all specifications mentioned in the checklist, however I didn't submit any supplementary documents because I get paid in cash and in Egypt tax statements are not accurate indicators of salary. Is this sufficient?

Also, just out of curiosity, when should I expect my turn to reach, at least for the fee charge, given in mind that I'm a June 4th applicant?

Hello Everyone...

My points to apply under Canada FSW program are 73 without claiming spouse IELTS points as by mistake she gave academic...Can I apply without it ??

You have a nice cushion above the pass mark without your wife's IELTS, so feel free to apply. Especially if you are in a hot NOC.

It may be wise to secure a birth certificate affidavit declaring DOB corresponding with information the relative may have declared & on Passport, to avoid conflicting info. - CIC can be very thorough in their findings.

Great job making this summary!
Thanks for that...

As per Spreadsheet :

Total Application received in Spreed sheet are approximate 30% of world wide application received at CIO.

According to this:

Total Application received in Spreed sheet from 1 May - 15 May 2014 = 705

Total Application received World wide from 1 May - 15 May 2014 = 30% + 70% = 705 + 1645 = 2350

-------------------------------------------------

Total Application received in Spreed sheet from 16 May - 31 May 2014 = 269

Total Application received World wide from 16 May - 31 May 2014 = 30% + 70% = 269 + 631= 900

-------------------------------------------------

Total Application received in Spreed sheet from 1 June - 15 June 2014 = 247

Total Application received World wide from 1 June - 15 June 2014 = 30% + 70% = 247+ 574= 821

-------------------------------------------------

Total Application received in Spreed sheet from 16 June - 30 June 2014 = 192

Total Application received World wide from 16 June - 30 June 2014 = 30% + 70% = 192+ 448 = 640

-------------------------------------------------

Total Application received in Spreed sheet from 1 July - 15 July 2014 = 151

Total Application received World wide from 1 July - 15 July 2014 = 30% + 70% = 151 + 350 = 501

-------------------------------------------------

Total Application received in Spreed sheet from 16 July - 31 July 2014 = 138

Total Application received World wide from 16 July - 31 July 2014 = 30% + 70% = 138 + 322 = 460

-------------------------------------------------

So Assuming world wide application received :

First half of May = 2350
Last half of May = 900
First half of June = 821
Last half of June = 640
First half of July = 501
Last half of July = 460

So, it is decreasing so it will take half time to process applications month by month, Just we have to wait CIO to clear all applications between 1 May - 15 May 2014.....
