Dear All

This is my first post here though I have been following this forum for quite a few months and I must say, it helped my and my husband A LOT in filling and submitting our application.

The reason of this post is a small concern - We sent our application on July 18, 2014 and it was delivered at CIC office on July 23, 2014 at 13:22. However, we have not received any confirmation from CIC if they have received the application or not. I see people mentioning that their application was received by "so and so" and I have no such information which is making us very worried and anxious. ??? : :-X

Any leads or information on this can really help us!!
hello why don't you contact your courier to extract these details ?

You will have to wait for little long time buddy,,,, Right now Applications reached on 13th May is being processed.
You cannot contact CIC untill your app is with them for 8 to 10 weeks.
Just relax !!

I was wondering if someone can tell me how much time does it takes to encash a DD? My application was received on 16 july 2014. But till date there is no update. What shall I do? Is there an email adrress where I can ask the people at CIO to tell me the status of the application??

Congratulations to Oscar7, Future_Canadian and all others who recently got their PER.

I have one question. If I don not have salary slips for one of my jobs and that job doesn't count in the NOC point claims as well, will that be an issue? I have the appointment Letter, Increment Letter, Experience Letter and Reference Letter as per CIC requirements.

Be patience, You have long way to go.
till now Only 13th May has been charged and yours is 16th July so it will take quite long time. Still you can check "charge date estimate" sheet in spreadsheet.

Salary Slips are optional . No problem.

And all those documents you mentioned are also not mandatory.

Only the reference letter properly written as per the Checklist criteria , and signed is mandatory.

Hello... My application is received by CIC on 31st July, and I can see here that people who are updating their status are the once who had their applications received by 12th / 13th May 2014. So I guess it will take at least 3-4 months before CIC starts working on July apps. Till then we won't hear anything from them.

Dear all, I am told my PER arrived yesterday at my Canadian representative's e-mail; just learned today from my India immigration office. Good luck to all those who are waiting for fee charge, PER or whatever next stage they are at. Cheers!

14th may not charged till now....

is there something going on at CIO?

it really pissed me off.
