Got PER email about 90 minutes back. Finally made it! Jai Shakti Ma Jai Bholenath

Application reached 7th may.
CC charged 12th June.
NOC 2174.

Was apprehensive , because people who are charged CC long after me received PER. So buddies, PER is not in order of CC/DD charge date.. People who did'nt receive PER do not loose hope.

I need some help about marriage certificate. Me and my wife are Buddhist in religion. Our marriage has conducted in a Buddhist temple by a priest in presence of our guardian. We only have a marriage certificate signed by the priest on the letter pad of the temple. Is it is accepted by CIC? In Bangladesh, there is no official procedure for Buddhist marriage as far I know. Pls help me in this regard.

There isn't an official procedure for Buddhist marriage, but does Bangladesh have any procedure for legally recognizing the marriage? Such as registration? If so get it done and provide the proof/certificate.

Not from Bangladesh, but did a quick search for you query. This came up

In the absence of specific Bangladeshi governmental instructions regarding Hindu/Buddhist/Christian marriage registrations, Embassy Dhaka accepts either of the following documents.

* Marriage registration with the City Corporation: A marriage certificate issued by a City Corporation registrar office prepared on a standard, government-printed form.
* Certification from a Priest/Church/Temple: A marriage certificate issued by the priest who solemnized the marriage or the administration of the Church/Temple where the marriage was solemnized. The format for these documents may vary.

The above documents must contain information regarding the wedding ceremony and the information concerning the identity of the person registering the marriage.

If the Embassy Dhaka accepts it, then CIC will also accept it most likely. Alternatively, Embassies also issue Certificates of Marriage, which you can find out.

marriage registration is mandatory for all religion in bangladesh.

MY file reached by june 16 Its almost going to be 60 days.If now cic is working only with may 12 th or may 13th.hw long they will take to start working with our file. is it going to be more than 6 months just to get the file number ?.Its really frustating to wait till 6 months to just know weather our file is acceptable or not
