I did not include mailing labels in my application. Is this a serious mistake that can cause my application to get rejected? ::)

As fas as I have heard from forum members, these self-addressed mailing labels are to be used by CIC to send the incomplete/rejected applications back.

Now it would be an irony of sorts to have one's application rejected because of lack of providing these labels themselves. ???

You can relax by thinking this way. Because CIC doesn't have these labels, so they can't reject your application at all. :)

I am planning to show post office savings on monthly income scheme as Proof of funds.

I have the post office pass book with the proper seal from post office with the amount and date of deposit. Can this be shown as proof for funds ?

If those funds are liquid and unencumbered and can be withdrawn at any time (cash in hand), then yes.

Congrats bro..

Looking at your details (below), I assume that you mean "App. Filed" as the date you have sent the application (29th April) , not the date of receiving at CIC.. Correct? FSW2014 applications started receiving on 1st May.
You can't be FSW2013 applicant for sure :P

Category........: FSW1
Visa Office......: Singapore
NOC Code......: 2174
Pre-Assessed..: Yes
App. Filed.......: 29-04-2014

Thanks future_canadian

one more doubt is it compulsory to add the the spouse name in the passport before submitting the new data to NDVO.

No. Canada does not put spouse names in passports. I never heard of that before joining this forum.

Hey senior guys.. I have a doubt.. The update on CIC website is having received 555 completed applications... Does that mean 555 PER have been issued??

You must submit PCCs from every country you have lived in for 6 month or more since turning 18.

Sorry, but I understood that is in the last 10 years... :o
If somebody else can clarify please do it.
Thanks!
