Hello savarana,
This is what i have done.

Started off by calling a few Fingerprint agents. They all quoted 3-4k each for doing fingerprints for me and my wife. Since it seemed exorbitant, I decided to explore other options.



STEP 1
Download and Print the FD 258 form
(try to get 3-4 copies)
(As per the, Character requirements document for the United states,
Provide:
a covering letter if required,
a set of both rolled/inked and plain fingerprint impressions placed on a
standard paper fingerprint card,
satisfactory proof of identity,
consisting of full name,
date and place of birth,
postal address for return of results.


STEP 2
Go to the local police station and get my fingerprints done
(Pay/Bribe then whatever to get this done quickly .)

What do you mean by standard paper fingerprint card? Do you mean you printed the FD-258 form on A4 paper?

Oh, so any police station would know how to roll fingers (with/without bribe)?

No they don't send any email for negative evaluation .

You can email at cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca to get the status of your application. But don't expect any reply anytime soon.They take at least a month to reply.

Does anyone know if DHL delivers to CIC on a Saturday! Our application has been sitting at Nova Scotia Sort Facility since yesterday morning. It needs to be delivered to CIC. Does DHL work on a saturday or do i have to wait till monday

What did they write?

Did they say anything about the status of your application? Probably when you sent email ,your file was not even opened.

You can write e-mail again now and expect to hear at least after a month.

Yes they will reply within 1-2 months timeframe from the date you sent your email.

I wonder how fast SGVO will work on applications for FSW2014. I am hoping they will go alot faster than how they did with FSW2013. As what I heard from the SGVO 2013 thread, it seems that the SGVO has been on a halt for a long time.

But not much data yet on the spreadsheet since CIO has just started to transfer the files to VO. have to wait and see.

from the excel sheet, I can see the processing time is getting longer than previous. the time from application sent to Fee Encashed is around 2-3 month now. will it be becoming even longer in the future?

my application sent in early June, any idea when there will be some updates from CIO? thanks.
