2. Since ur file has reached on 14th Jul, u will get age points upto that day...So no need to be anxious for that....This is very logical... SInce ur file may take over three years to be processed....But they should/will not add this additional three yrs with ur application age....

Regarding age calculation, is it as on the date application received at CIC or any other transaction such as CC Charge or PER?

FOr all cases, date is calculated -on the rcvd date...

And regarding the processing time- its just an example....

1. I have placed the visiting card on the reference letter & make the photocopy of those for sending with the application. Is it sufficient?
2. I have translated my National Id (Bengali) & sent the copy of
a. Affidavit from translator mentioning the translator's educational information, worked with photocopy of original etc.
b. English translated copy (seal of translator & notary public) &
c. Bengali version copy (only organization seal not attested)

Can someone throw some light on points regarding secondary language -French. I guess the 4 points are 1 each for each of the 4 abilities Listening/Speaking/Reading/Writing.

One needs CLB level 5 in order to get points. So what does CLB Level 5 in french mean ? Is it A2 level or B1 or B2 in TEF exam. Can one show TCF exam for FSW ?

I had my DD drawn from HSBC Bank, Sydney. As you are a Banker, Is there a way you can help me check the status for my DD being en-cashed or not.

To those whose DD has been encashed

How do you know if it has been encashed? Do you receive a text from the bank or you have to check and go to the bank? Thanks!
