Hi Everyone,

I was analyzing the spreadsheet and see that there are some 1st and 2nd May applicants who have received their PERs but their Medical request is still pending. Is the data on spreadsheet still accurate or has people not updated their entries?

Is CIC still scrutinizing application based on received date ?

They are still working on May 12th - May 13th applications. So I think you are still far away.

Hi Fellows,
I have a question to ask regarding the validity of IELTS certificate at the time of PER assessment.
In fact, I took IELTS test on 15th Jan 2013 which means it will expire on 15th Jan 2015. My application has been received by CIO on 31 July 2014. I am worried, once CIO will review my application after 5 months (as per the current processing speed of CIO) my IELTS certificate may not be valid.
I have two questions to ask.
1. Will CIO return my application based on above situation?
2. Is it possible if I take IELTS test now and submit the new IELTS result to CIO?

May 12th application reached.

I have learnt from the Bank officer that still my DD has not been liquidated plus not heard from CIC. Is this something to be worried about?

cic is working on 12,13 may applicants.. you will hear soon..have patience

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to know from experienced folks once we get a request for PCC and Medicals, how much time does CIC give.

I have not yet initiated the process of acquiring PCC, so wanted to know should i be ready even before they ask or i can get it later.

DD Encashed and ECAS Status Updated: 4th July 2014.

Just received per.

Received on May 7th
Fee charged on June 30

Dear Seniors,

Kindly help confirm if Fixed Deposit will be accepted by my local VO (specifically AVO) when POF is requested after my documents have been transferred from CIC? If yes, will I need to present updated certificate from bank when POF is requested from Local VO or can I present the same one I used when I submitted to CIC? Kindly help clarify.

yes fixed deposit is well accepted but it should be encashed anytym on the request of account holder
it depend upon visa office..if they demand updated bank certificate you have to submit...usually visa office ask for bank statements for 6 months

App received on 7th may and CC charged on 2nd july.

Just in case it helps anyone..
only 1 ref letter provided on company letter head.
2 ref letters on plain A4 paper
Only offer letter submitted for the current company
