I called CIO. They said that they don't entertain case specific queries. The lady advised me to shoot a mail which I did. Have attached my IELTS TRF and Proof of Delivery in the mail.

Another concern is that I haven't yet received my application back. CIC takes 40 days to respond to emails. If I waited for my application, I would have lost precious days. Even if CIC responds in another 15-20 days, I should have my file back by then.

Regarding IELTS, yeah, I have taken the closest date available. The fear is that 2171 might get filled up before I am able to repack and resend my application.

I do not want to fight with CIC. All I want from them is that my application is considered within the cap whenever it reaches them.

Hi, resend another application immediately as they wont wait for you. You will still meet the cap.
They should increase the cap for NOC 2171 to 1001 and accept my application whenever it reaches or
They should decrease the cap for NOC 2171 to 999 and accept my application whenever it reaches. :D

I agree with you, i too feel members should stop complaining about CIC and congratulating each others which leads to lot of pages.

If come back after 2 days, i was totally lost in the flood of posts.

Seniors,

Please keep this thread only for posting question and answers.

Or we have to create separate thread for (1)timeline and congratulations, (2)grievances on cic procressing time, etc

The applicants who sent their application as early as the second week since the program opening and still have not heard anything from CIO, is able to carry on with their daily lives without panicking only because of the congratulations .

Just imagine No congratulations = No timeline of CC charge+ No timeline of PER received .

Since I joined this forum , I have read more than 2500 pages. Does that make me a jobless person ? I bet not!

This forum is not only about questions and answers. Its much much bigger than that. Its a thousand dreams and emotions being shared amongst people who might have never met each other.

Its a wonderful thing.Let the forum be as it is....

Hello everyone!!

My wife is the main applicant. Though she has 3 years and 5 months experience in HR, but she has been unemployed for last 6 months. Is it going to make any negative impact. Please share ur thoughts. Thanks in advance.

there is no need to explan why you are not sending your pcc because it is not mandatory to send pcc with your application but you can send later on the request of visa officer when your file will reach at local visa office..

Thank you

Hi,

I am not sure if I can show house on my name as an Asset. Here is the POF that I would like to show -

Assets
I have a house on my name and I got property valuation done for both House + Land Value for 48 Lacs (18L+30L).

Liabilities:
Housing Loan of 7.5 Lacs with outstanding loan statement from the bank

Settlement Funds:
Provident Fund Statement+ Insurance certificates surrender Value+Cash = 10L +3L + 3L=16 Lacs

Please let me know if I can proceed with the above POF.

Regards
Rajesh

Hi,

I have one query regarding the "ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION" FORM (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.pdf).

1. My father's name in passport is Chacko. This is the name given in most of the records excluding the birth certificate, in that it is given with initial T.C Chacko for this I have affidavit. T.C is having an expansion (Expansion is not mentioned in affidavit). In the "ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION" I have given the name with this expansion, but it is not there anywhere. Will it be a problem, or I will simply give like in the passport (Chacko).

2. Same issue in mother's name. Mother's name is just her name in passport. But in the form last name is added with father's name. Please advise me on this. Do I need to make any change in the form.

No it shouldn't have an effect provided she meets the rest of the requirements and is able to achieve the 67 points...

But it should be mentioned in her work experience on the Schedule 3 form
