Hi folks,

My brother studied in India as a foreign student for his bachelor's degree. He stayed there for 4 years so I think he needs police certificate from India too. Does anyone know what's the process of getting police certificate from India for the foreign nationals who had stayed/lived there for more than 6 months? Anyone in this situation? Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards.

Anyone in this situation? Anyone in this forum who is non-Indian national and needed to get police certificate from India (coz. one had stayed more than 6 months there in the past) . It'd be a great help if you can share your experience and procedures.
OR
Anyone from India, who is going to make police certificate in the future, can you please ask a 'police certificate issuing authority', if it's possible that the non-Indian who lived in India for more than 6 months in the past can be issued a police certificate and what's the procedure for that and share that in this forum/thread. It would be of great great help.

I'm looking forward to a response from kind and helpful forum members.

Thanks and regards.

If you are currently out of india and have stayed in India for more than 6 months then please contact your nearest indian embassy. I know the process of people in canada. You need to fill the forms and pay fees $32 and submit your passport. it takes around 2-4 weeks for verification and you will be given acknowledgment through email when your verification is completed.
Kindly visit following website for BLS Canada:
Refer http://www.blsindia-canada.com/pol_clr_cert.php

CIC link for police clearance of India (Non-Resident Requests:Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.)

Senior,

Please provide your input. I am including following documents in reply to the request for pcc, medical and RPRF. Am I missing anything?

1. Medical receipt from the doctor
2. PCC from USA
3. PCC from India
4. RPRF receipt

Also, do I need to write application number on the mailing package? I have written application number on a paper inside the package.

If they see from your application that your studying in Canada they may change the VO for you. I'm sure someone on here had there VO changed without having to request so you maybe ok

Since you already have student visa you must be having UCI. If you are living in Canada for more than a year, you can contact CIC and request them to change VO to Ottawa.

Only problem is the bank certificate which is already provided. We cannot edit and give a new one now as I have already submitted everything to cic. I am ready to show my savings bank account if needed as additional source.

In my case difference is coming around 5000 Indian rupees to max 10000. Hope the Money fluctuation will be stable for a while.

Please advice

Hi guys

I am in trouble .. Need some advice.. I have posted this same question in another thread.
We have applied for fsw program this time with myself as primary and spouse and my son(minor).
We are applying from India and maintain exact 10 lakhs for this purpose in account.
Canadian dollar value is changing and now I see that the amount 18097( for 3 people) cad equates more than 10 lakhs as the rate is 55.55 ₹.
Please advise. Do we have to act upon anything now ?

Be ready to show consistent money in ur accounts when asked by cic
