I believe guys in Canada / US can shed light on the below:

1. I can relate to the experience of using money2india / remit2india from the time I was in the US to send money to India, so the above mentioned service of ICICI seems pretty much the same. Am I right?

2. Have you heard of ICICI's presence in Canada - how good is their presence there? I would imagine they sure can't be present in every nook and corner (as they are in India) so can't compete with the local Canadian banks in terms of services.

Well - That's a tricky one.

Does the CGI document say "Certificate of Birth" or is it a "Birth Certificate" as the one you get from the CMC Dept in India ?

I believe they only issue a "Certificate Of Birth" (which is like a PCC) in which case I would have attached the original because you can always get the document reissued and its not much of a big deal.

If it is however the Birth Certificate - then copy only.

My suggestion - go for the original then. This is not exactly a birth certificate.

1)I have issues getting a reference letter from one of my employer, however i have a colleague who i worked with ready to refer me but working with a different firm now. I can get that written in a stamp paper and notarize the same, however he does not have a Business card



2) On the stamp paper do i need to type or hand write it?

That may not convince the VO since the colleague is no longer working in the same company in the first place AND you cannot attach a business card. Do you have any body else who can provide you with a stronger case?

The problem here is, the company i worked for is a contracting company who deploys people to client location and we do not have a email address given to us by the contacting company and for communication purpose we use the client email address.

My offer letter does say that i will be working at the client location and the company name is mentioned on the offer letter and the person who is ready to give me the email with my roles n responsibilities does work with the same client.

Oh Okay. That makes more sense.

Make sure you include the statement that the referring person is a 'Client' with whom you have worked in the past.

But try to get a Business Card attached because it reaffirms your case a little more.
