But it ll not match with reference letter or any other employment letter....
As i had also applied under same catg. With stating occupation as lecturer ... I work in private colg as lecturer but got approval from university for the same...
So pls seniors through some light on this matter...

In the reference letters designation is Lecturer

In the Generic application form, Shall I write University Lecturer or Just Lecturer

CIC isn't that concerned with your title. They want to know what NOC your jobs were in. It makes sense to mention the NOC title for clarity. For example I entered "Manager/Financial and Investment Analyst" for my positions. The difference between "University Lecturer" and "Lecturer" is basically nothing and will not make a difference to the application. Still, in my opinion it is better to guide CIC where you want them to go, by including the NOC title as at least part of your designation on the form.
