Educational details 0712

Dear Experts

My Friend is planning to apply under 0712. My query is regarding educational requirements maintained in HRSDC site. Following is the details maintained

"Extensive experience in the home construction industry, including experience as a general supervisor, is usually required for self-employment as a home builder or a home renovator"

So my question is the it doesnt clarify what degree, diploma required for it, detials more tells about experience.

Help needed....do they really want to verify the same FD advice as was submitted? Or it's ok as long as I have enough funds in PF account that is needed for POF.

It's not a problem at all. You can do what you want with your money provided that you have sufficient liquid and unencumbered funds to show during your application and again at landing. Your local VO may ask for some months worth of bank statements, so if you have a large number of unusual transactions, and your liquid and unencumbered funds drops below the required level at some point, that could raise a red flag. Remember they are checking to see whether you can establish yourself economically in Canada and support yourself until you get a job. Think from that perspective. But in all likelihood, as long as you maintain the funds somewhere or other, you are fine.

so are you saying that i should get the same letter printed on a plain paper and signed by my ex-manager with his phone number/email etc? if yes, then how are CIC going to trust it as a reputed source of confirmation of my previous job?

Simple. This boss states in the letter that he was previously with XYZ company and was your boss. He provides contact information. Then if the local VO wishes to verify, they contact him, and maybe XYZ company too, to ask questions.

CIO does not relate experience with Education. A person having 1 yr experience in IT and education in Philosophy is eligible for IT NOC as long as roles match with NOC roles significantly. So don't bother with educational detail.

Just go to a Photographer shop and tell him that you need to get yourself clicked for Visa (Canada)...and they will do the needful

Not necessarily because the photo specifications for this program are different than for other Canadian visa applications. Read the Guide carefully!

As far as I know there is no such program right now in Canada specially for IT Professional.

The link provided by that poster was about the venture capital/startup program. Probably mostly used by IT people, but it's not as if that's a special category of immigration just for IT people. You have to get VC backing for your startup or provide the VC yourself. So it's not exactly an open door for just anybody with an IT degree.

Thanks in advance.

anything about PER 7th may applicant

waiting....waiting....waiting...... :( :( :( :(

CC not charged even today.

Guess it's goodbye for 9th May applicants. People worrying about PERs or Medicals or ECAS status, ask people whose CCs have not been charged. You guys will feel a lot better.
