Ohh good to know this dmitrych... also i guess i didn't congratulate you on your PER. So congrats :) i am not able to view spreadsheet from a long time (doesn't open at office). Will you let me know how many of 5-6th may applicants are still awaiting PER?

Thank you k_b :)

It's kind of difficult to tell, because it looks like some entries are not up-to-date.
Out of 55 May 5 applicants, 4 entries are in the "Payment charged" status (waiting for PER).
Out of 36 May 6 applicants, 11 applicants are waiting for PER.

Just for comparison, there's one such entry among 20 May 1 applicants left, and one more such entry among 30 May 2 applicants.
Not sure where exactly outdated entries end here, but it looks plausible that some of those 4 reported applicants from May 5 are really still waiting (we can ask them directly to clarify, if this is of interest).
Many, if not all, of those 11 applicants from May 6 are clearly waiting.

I still can only guess what has caused such sharp slowdown in PER processing, a month ago, - and it continues without any sign if the speed will return back to the original one. It didn't happen during FSW 2013.
On the other hand, as it only affects the wait times and not the outcome, it's probably fine, we just need some patience :)

For May 1 to May 6 - Pending PER's

Most likely stuck for more documents/ info.. for e.g ECA not available Online.. that's why we slight up tick in recent Cap updates as their get PER's get released 8) . May be, others are undergoing higher scrutiny/ Ref check for Work exp letters etc... potential NER's, unfortunately :( :(

From my point of view,
It would be better if you send your package to your brother's place and ask him to fill the fee payment form and send the package to NS.

Notary person will put the My commission will expire on date.
Generally it will be 5 years from the Notary Date.

I am 9th May applicant. Got my CC charged on 21 July 2014. How can i update my info on your spread sheet.

I think CIC staff who works at the PER section is on summer vacation. :'(

There is no other explanation to this strange situation regarding PER's.

GUYS,

My spouse is required to fill "Additional Family Information IMM5406E" form.

What she have to write in "APPLICANT COLUMN".

Her name or my name??

In our case, I am the principal applicant and She is accompanying me.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ??

You only need to notarize those documents that are not in English or french, otherwise it is ok. It is written on top of document checklist.

Thanks so much Goku for your clarification on this.

Ashesh I ws also under same impression tht docs need to b notorized n my consultant also told me the same. I gt d entire bunch notorized n hd spent a gud amnt on tht... but later I read in this forum tht lot of ppl gt charged n received PER without notorized docs...
One of my frnd is using attorney in canada n he ws also told that notorizatn nt required...

Yes I was under the same impression sm9, thats why i was trying to double confirm.

But i think its pretty clear now. Not much is required further to be clarified on this topic. Thanks very much! :)

Thanks
Ashesh

Hi find your answer below:

Q. How should I fill Additional Family Information form for my Spouse? Is it required?

A. Absolutely! It is a required document and your spouse should fill it. The form asks for “Applicant” and not “Principal Applicant“. Take care of it when filling the form. You, as a Principal applicant will write your name in “Applicant” Column and you will write your wife/husbands name in “Spouse” column.

Similarly, when your spouse is filling the form, he/she will write his/her name in the “Applicant” row & your name in the “Spouse“.

For both forms, you will write your kids details [if any], or will sign the declaration at the bottom of second section for no kids.

The last table will be filled separately by the two of you with your own siblings.

The first May 12 applicant was charged yesterday, so they seem to be processed now.
