True - its like 2 Months + 9 to 10 days but I feel there were so many applications received by CIC on 7th till 12th May and I expect the charging to go more faster for now once they clear the bunch of 7th till 12th May applications.

Seniors what you think ?

Regards,
Shahid

Totally agreed with buddy...And it will happen....Just see!!...

An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.
Thank u :)

All the certificates(Birth certificate, School certificates) father's name is with initial but only in passport initial is in expanded form. Will it be a problem?

hello dear friends,
it seems that PERs are going in a turtle slow pace. any idea why?
my CC was encashed on June17 but no PER till now. the ecas can be seen online as in process "you application was received on May 7", but I am becoming anxious.

They can't until they get PER mail which will have 8 digit unique client identification number.

Someone has told me that u can call them and when IVR menu aske u to dial your unique client identification number, u wait for 3 times and it will autometically transffered ur call to available agent. They may ask ur full detail and can let u know the status.

I want to just confirm that. It is too early for me to check this as my application has just received on 21-Jul, but this can help others.

I understand the funny part ..their TAT is ~30 working days... so it is slow indeed. But what is their response ? or what is the msg you're trying to convey ?.. sorry, i could not figure it out except for the delay part.

Well, I got a reply from CIO sydney for an email inquiry sent on June 10th. It was requesting to forward my application to CPC-Ottawa as I wrote Los Angeles in generic form. So funny, I have received medical request from Ottawa like a month ago ;D Explains how slow they are processing requests :P :P

Good luck to all those who are waiting for CC charge. Hope they pickup some speed :)

I and other forum members have tried that number multiple times. They don't give information related to UCI over that number. So no use in calling those numbers.
