I made DD from ICICI bank, India. They had given me hand written DD. Canadian Dollars is not written on the DD but they made DD as per the form provided by you in which you need to mention the currency of DD.

As it is given by bank, it should not create any problem whether it is hand written or else....Also it is valid for 6 months...

I made the DD

Here are my doubts.

1) No where in the DD it is mentioned Canadian Dollars. (DD from ICICI bank drawn for Bank of Montreal Toronto) - Is it necessary to mention Canadian Dollars in the DD or not, as it is only handwritten One thousand and six hundred and fifty only dollars

2) DD is handwritten ( I mean it is not printed) with bad handwriting - it is written with pen Receiver general for Canada and One thousand and six hundred and fifty only dollars -- will it make any problem

3) Six months validity is n where printed on the DD - the bank person is telling that, it is valid for 6 months ( can we trust him)
4) There is no bank seal

i am nervous

plz confirm

thanks

You have to inform your LVO after the birth of child with his/her birth certi, PP and related forms to include him as your dependent....

Hi guys, i've been reading some of the posts here, which mentioned that if the applicant believes there are errors in the application already sent, it is recommended to send another application. i just want to ask, has anyone ever done this and the second application got approved? as i can see on CIC website, it clearly says "Do not send multiple applications." the second application shall be accompanied by the first refusal letter. can anyone share some ideas on this pls? actually, i'm planning to send a second application without refusal letter, no idea if this can work. thanks guys in advance for your help...

My friend, Its 550 for each adult & 150 each for kids. Now, i dont understand how you identified 2 adult dependents coz only dependent adult can be your spouse of common law partner.

So, it should have been 550 X 2 (you and your spouse) = 1100
150 X 1 2nd dependent (your child) = 150

Total = $1250

How come you end up with 1650

1 Principal + 1 Wife\Spouse + 1 Kid = 1250

Are you trying to gain an edge by bribing CIC? :o :o

If the complete application link of the CIC site won't change this week(or starting of 7th May per sending date), I think we can assume that the figures are up to 6th of May. By this assumption we can get a more accurate figure about the apps submitted worldwide against the apps entry in the spreadsheet through this forum for time period up to 6th May. This will ultimately help with to get a more accurate estimation of the cap.

Mention it only if they take longer than 9 months otherwise you dont have to worry, once a baby is born just provide his/her bc and add baby to mother pp

:) :D

[size=9pt] Dear Rahul, If you are here looking for FREE advice then you should be able to listen to harsh words that come ALONG with it at times. k_b answered your query, and also suggested to google search such very basic stuff. That should not hurt you so much that you use the words you did back then. If you choose to respond this way then this choice of words will hurt you more here in the long run. Please be aware! However if you are polite that will do wonders for you here.

Although we are here to help, folks should first google search and look for what's available free to all. Cheers! :)

Excuse me... If you have any issues don't just reply..I dint ask you to reply specifically..
This forum is to clear your doubts and a question may sound silly to you and not to others.. So if you are so temperamental mind your business.. Don't poke your nose everywhere

Wow!!, Easy Tiger, no one is doing a 9-5 job here for anyone. K-b suggested correct. Lets be humble while asking for help brother rahul :) Cheers and have a happy evening
