I think CIC should appoint applicants in waiting of next date for processing and should see the magic speed...

Currents statics are below with DD applicant.

Balance DD applicant SS Enchased DD applicant SS yet 21.07.2014
7th may 39 17
8th may 31 4
9th may 24 0

How are they handing DD applicant , I dont able to understand still many 7th and 8th may applicant to be charged ...

Depending on your bank, you will hear your DD encashment in between 1st CC charge date to last CC charge date+15days of the 9th My applicants.

My application deals received by CIC NS on 9th June,2014. I received my PCC from 3 countries. How long are they valid for? I now realize that it is taking 3-4 weeks for one day movement. To reach 9 June- it might take 8-12 months?

I don't have file or UCI number. Should I send them off in a letter addressing CIC NS the situation?

Gurus please advise

What are the hours of operation for the CIC customer service number?

Okay another question for guys that are already in Canada perhaps. How are the time zones in Canada? Exactly like NYT to California time zone from East to West? Or do they operate maybe even one hour earlier than NYT there (i.e. one more time zone...I think US also has that for some islands off of the East coast)? Especially in Syndey, NS?

Canada has the same time zones as the USA except they have one more: Atlantic time, which is for the maritime provinces including Nova Scotia. It is one hour ahead of Eastern time. GMT-4 in winter, GMT-3 in summer.

As long as your PCCs are less than 3 month old when CIO received, it is OK. Don't worry on validity.

Time Zones in Canada
NS falls in ADT (with Daylight Savings)
Standard Time Zones
Newfoundland Standard Time (NST) = UTC-3:30.
Atlantic Standard Time (AST) = UTC-4.
Eastern Standard Time (EST) = UTC-5.
Central Standard Time (CST) = UTC-6.
Mountain Standard Time (MST) = UTC-7.
Pacific Standard Time (PST) = UTC -8.

Daylight Saving Time Zones
Newfoundland Daylight Time (NDT) = UTC-2:30.
Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT) = UTC-3.
Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) = UTC-4.
Central Daylight Time (CDT) = UTC-5.
Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) = UTC-6.
Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) = UTC-7.

Ha, I forgot about Newfoundland time. Those weird half-hour time zones!

Thanks for your reply.

Finally, I have one more question. In the generic application form, last page where the declaration is made- I SIGNED, DATED, ticked YES but I did not write my NAME. Will that be a ground for refusing my application.

Is it better to send another application, I have all the documents ready. My NOC is 3142- Physiotherapists- 11 applications have been accepted according to CIC.

Seniors !!

Please tell me the difference between Experience Letter and Reference Letter...

I have been working in the same company since last 5-6 years. Promoted to HR Manager 2-3 years back.

What all, should i submit??

But, do tell the difference between Experience Letter and Reference Letter first...

Thanks

Should not be the cause for rejection...!!!

In roughly three months they processed only 600 (suppose) applications ... if same speed continues then by the end of this year they can process only 2000 to 2500 applications .... then what was the point of announcing 25,000 applications?
