I doubt there will be a cap update today, no progress has been reported since last week.
May be they will work this week and update before weekend.

Having started your queries with rants, permit me to rant (if you don't find it offensive to play on the word "rant") too....

- Why would you ask if it takes 27 days when it clearly state 27 months on the website?you sure don't need an interpreter for this...?

-Many of your queries have been answered over and over especially regarding what time limit you have to arrive in Canada, why don't you take time to read through the thread (A whole lot of people have to do this too instead of asking questions, read first! After all you must read to answer a question and not the other way round).

-Yes,"visa authorities" are very strict with settlement fund! You know why? FSWP is no joke neither is it a gamble of some sort. Visa authorities make the rules and they ensured the rules are strictly adhered to. They make sure nobody (such as people who "borrow" the fund) circumvent the process! Don't "borrow" the settlement fund,if you do you might get caught and probably receive a 2 year ban... You don't want to try the mechanism put in place by the "visa authorities" to detect people who "borrow" the fund do you? You might be asked to provide as much as a 12 months bank statement later during the application processing period and that will burst your bubble (I leave you to imagine what will be done to the bank statement provided).

Bottom line is,follow the rules...Play the game by the rules...Pray for the best and you will see your dreams come to fruition.

Over and out!

+1 good sir. Don't borrow settlement funds. It will get you in trouble.

Do we need to submit any covering letter for non-submission of PCC with our application?? Am i OK if i submit the PCC of me and my spouse only to my local visa office or i need to submit them all of mine and mine spouse's family member's PCC??

You and spouse only.

You may indicated "to be provided later" on the document checklist for PCCs. Probably no need for a separate covering letter just for that. If you have a cover letter for other reasons you can mention it there.

hi Folks,

Need urgent help from your guys.

I have received my documents from WES, now I have to submit my application packet to CIC.

For the payment I am planning to use Credit card as my payment option. But I have one doubt , when I do an Credit card transaction the payment gateway takes me to my credit card company gateway page where I have to enter my webloggin PWD to complete the transaction.

Now the big question is ,when CIC will try to do a transaction to claim fees using the CC information provided in the Fees document, will they be needing my PWD to process it

folks please who have used CC as payment option recently and their card was charges share your experience .. ??? ::)

i am highly confused , please help folks :-[
There won't be any issue. Just make sure your international limit is more and your card validity.! Other than that, you're good to go! Best luck

TOtally agreed. CIC will first send PER mails to 6th-7th may folks before any update. atleast all 6th may PERs if not 7th may ones

hi,

i have got employment reference and experience letters from current employer. but letter head does not have any website or telephone details. Also no where in appointment letter and salary statements as well. does it cause a problem when i submit the same.? Can some body please clarify this.?

p.s: company is fortune 20 usa listed one.

Thank you

NOC 2174 just reached 250 apps mark in the spreadsheet. If this number is even 25% of the world, than it is most likely capped. :-[

It will not ask for a password from CIC as CIC is a well know merchant...if you have doubts ask your bank or better use a DD with 6 months validity (may be from Thomas Cook)

So here is the scenario from your prespective "Fahim"....

Lets say you borrow funds and all the odds work in your favor...then what?

Heres what will happen to you and your dreams of earning big...

Firstly, you will need funds to travel...and Lets say you do land in canada...there again you will be required to show funds (hard cash)...do you have plans for that? (Lets say you do and you are out of the airport)...since you dont have funds you will have to walk...

Secondly, since you are there you will need a place to live which again needs cash...then you need to eat which to your surprise...requires cash again...!!!

Thirdly, you need to find a job which will take 1-2 months easily...and to survive for these 2 months guess what? (You need cash)

Finally, since you dont have cash let me tell you what you are going to end up with...(a very low paying job coz you need to survive) and then you will blame canada for it.

Got my point?

So work hard and accumulate all the funds in a couple of years and then apply...play a safe game...!!! Its not your hometown that everything will be a phone call away... I hope this will help...!!!

+1

Yeah this was going to happen considering the rush this year...and that too for the hottest NOC of all.
