1. What is COPR?
2. Cad > 10000. Did you carry a big amount in form of DD? Ideally I would like to have majority settlement funds in my india bank account, which I can transfer on need basic to canada as and when needed. Will immigration officer at the airport have any objection with that? I hope he does not insist all the settlement fund on my PR application to be liquidated in form of DD, Travellers Cheque, Cash, or loaded on a prepaid forex card. Your Thoughts?
3. What is SIN?
4. Given this is migration related travel, families may have a lot of things to transfer including gold. Any problem with that high value transfer back and forth?

Another question is, Should I be happy or cautious yet? There is still something that can go wrong? How many days until PER normally?

Hi everybody!...

My application was received on 10th of july by CIC.

Now can anyone pls tell me for how long i have to keep the money in my bank account? I have lend the money from others and i have to pay them back!
As per my understanding, i have to show the money to Visa office singapore or they may checked the amount which is still one or more year to come. So my plan is to accumulate the money later again.

Is it actually necessary to show the fund? Do they really verify? Some of my previous relatives told me they do the same like me.

Pls need expert suggestion

Avoid making BULK deposits and/or withdrawal at all costs. I don't know if you have submitted periodic bank statements or certificate of balance from the Bank as POF but if the VO requests for periodical statements in the future then you will have a tough time justifying the BULK transactions. It should never look like the money could have been borrowed.

Do we need to send educational documents along with application package`. I think they are not required as we are sending ECA. any one can u please confirm this???

I hope you are not referring to Proof of Foreign Educational Credentials because that is a MUST along with ECA. They can be copies of your Degree Certificates and/or Diploma etc as applicable.

I know its too early for me to think of this process... but little curious ... ;D
Do we need to carry the POF with us?? or show proof to immigration officer at the port of entry? really?? ???
I thought they need POF at the time of granting PR by verifying that you have sufficient funds to survive and not really sure they need to see the same at the entry gate too...
Can any body clarify this please?

Sorry to say bro- There is no provision to send ECA later....U will have to send an original report during application submission....

Hello everyone

Is there any reason why the NOC cap estimates in the spreadsheet are moving so slowly.

I am interested in NOC 1112 and it has barely moved in a month ... subsequently the estimated deadline has moved from ~Aug2014 to Apr2015 now.

I discovered the FSW only in May and after some browsing realized that I was too late to start my application process in June

But now that the applications have slowed down significantly and the estimated deadline now seems to be Apr2015 .... should i start the process ... I think i would be able to put my application together atleast by Dec2014

Absolutely NOT. It will render your application package void.

Absolutely NOT. It will render your application package void.

It will not be good idea if you send incomplete application ...that to knowingly. Whether your NOC is hot or Cold. Never do this.
