Firstly, this is misrepresentation . Your HR supervisor was supposed to mention on the letter, what you do at your occupation, he was not supposed to go online searching for job duties from other websites.

Secondly, CIC will not search online with keywords( They simply don't have the time and resources to carry out such exploration for each application). So you are fine.

If you were the applicant would you be willing to take this risk?

CIC has several methods of detecting fraud, and some local VOs take more time with each application than others do. They know there are web sites and shady "consultants" out there trying to put together canned applications and they have measures in place against it.

Even if it was not a flat-out cut and paste job, I sure wouldn't submit a letter that was imported from elsewhere. Aside from being misrepresentation, it's just too risky.

Hello Friends. I have a question.

While an application is still at CIC (i.e. awaiting CC/DD charge or awaiting PER) and in this duration if a candidate manages to secure offer of employment in Canada, then:
1. Can the candidate inform CIC and get his application amended to include and consider the offer of employment?
2. And in such cases, where offer of employment in Canada is available or gets secured after PR application is sent, how much time will it take for CIC to process PR.. 1 month, 2 months or more?

Let me know you opinion or web links where I can get more details.

Thanks.

It's hard to get CIC to accept newly sent documents and pair them up with your prior received application. You can try, especially if you have a UCI, but no guarantees.

NOC and Arranged Employment are two separate categories of FSW. Arranged Employment doesn't count against the caps on NOC applicants. You can wait and if your NOC application is rejected or seems to be because of no CC/DD charge well after others on your date are charged, you can prepare a new application with your arranged employment. There will be no need to worry about the cap.

You can also apply for temporary work permit and move to Canada quicker while your FSW is in process.

Anyone had CC charged for 10th May yet?, or will that be next week?

Please correct me if I am wrong. There should not be any May 10 and May 11 applications because these are weekends, right?

Then won't it be misrepresention coz I will be wrting 5 years or more experience as VP (Occupation) however I was VP since only last three years ..

You should show both titles and the duration of each. There's not much space on the form so you can do it in an annexure. You are thinking correctly though, that you need to be thorough and not give any mistaken impression.

I have received back my file today due to a blunder done by me by mentioning 2 NOC on Schedule Form 3.

I am planning to submit my file again, what are the chances left for me, if i apply under NOC 2173 or 2174.

Do i need to take a chance or not.

Also, Do i need to make a new DD as it is now valid till 15th Oct 2014.

Please help..

If you want to apply again, do so immediately.

I'd get a new DD, Oct 15 is cutting it close considering how long it's taken just to get to May 9 apps.

It is incorrect but I think they will accept it as a small error. Admittedly the form is VERY confusing!

Thanks For the reply GrantM...hope they will accept it..

Plain photocopies are fine
But if they are certified, it is also ok (not mandatory)

Hello All,

Am gathering documents to apply under FSW NOC: 2171. Information systems Analysts/ Consultant. My current designation is Senor Systems Engineer but my role and responsibilities come under NOC2171 will this be a problem even if i have a reference letter from the company.

My first employer is not ready neither responding to emails for a reference letter, In this case what can be done ?

Do i really need a consultant to advise on this or can i apply on my own? I already have my Quebec file lying for 2 years since am eligible now wanna go for FSW.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi guys,

I am in a big confusion !!

1. Can I take a reference letter from a currently working employee from my past company, but he was not my superior...is that fine?

2. If I take a reference letter from my ex-superior, will they accept?

so much of confusion. pls reply
you can take a reference letter from ex employer as well...if u have worked for atleast 1 year or more and the job was related to NOC ur applying aganist...
usually people from current company are scared as employer may believe u will be leaving them now or later...so u can definately take from any employer. And it should be from HR (most preferably). But any manager/lead level person having access to Letter head of company should be able to give u that letter and that would be ok.

seniors today I got a call from my back that CIC is attempting to make transaction on CC but system declined it and bank told me that CIC should attempt again and make transaction in 2 parts because 1250CAD is higher amount. Bank told me to call CIC and ask them to make two transactions of 625CAD each. I have mailed CIC Sydney office.
What should I do more so that CIC can make transaction :-X :-[ :-X
