Anyone helps me please? I posted my question below twice but it seems no one saw it :'(

I answered. When you ask questions, take the time to read the forum and see if anyone answers.

Which NOC?? It has to be a at least 1 year full time paid job in the last 10 years. How are you gonna show as paid employee? Self employed may not work.

Rather if you have any previous work exp, choose that NOC and go ahead with that.

There is nothing wrong with self-employment so long as it can be demonstrated.

Hi srideep, did your ECAS status get updated when you got these requests? How many days do you have to submit your PCC?
ECAS didnt get updated yet(i guess they update it weekly once).60 days time was given to submit PCC.

Ok, I will rephrase my question. About copies of documents that are in English originally — should they be certified true copies or are just plain photocopies sufficient? I am sorry to ask this so many times but I read all the sources many times and I am still confused!

Hi,

I have sent my application on 28th May 2014. But in the background declaration form question 6.d which says:

I checked No, but in past I have applied for US student VISA twice but got rejected. Is there any thing that needs to be done?

Why did you check no, when the answer to the question is yes?

You could try to send an updated form, but like everyone else who wants to send one, it's unlikely it will be paired with your already-received application. The chances are better if you have a UCI and can include that.

Otherwise you can tell the local VO about your mistake after they contact you.

That is if you want to be honest. If you want to leave it as is, you can hope that it doesn't come up during background checks.

Plain photocopies are fine
But if they are certified, it is also ok (not mandatory)

Hi

I am planning to apply for FSW 2014 under NOC4011. At present I do not have all the necessary papers. So I have to apply in September (around 2nd week). I am confused about the number of applications already accepted and the probable number of applications in queue. Is there any possibility of my application being accepted if I apply so late?

In 4011 you should be ok. This NOC is cold.

Hello All,

Am gathering documents to apply under FSW NOC: 2171. Information systems Analysts/ Consultant. My current designation is Senor Systems Engineer but my role and responsibilities come under NOC2171 will this be a problem even if i have a reference letter from the company.

My first employer is not ready neither responding to emails for a reference letter, In this case what can be done ?

Do i really need a consultant to advise on this or can i apply on my own? I already have my Quebec file lying for 2 years since am eligible now wanna go for FSW.

Thanks in Advance.

You mean if I have traveled for a week to anywhere out of my country I have to mention that as well? So it will be actually travel history and not the information that I am living somewhere from so and so date? Confused?

Yes, that goes in travel history. Living somewhere goes under addresses in background declaration.

I too have the same quest ... i have also mentioned two NOC but claming points for highest year of experience... is there any problm n this regard...

Dont know if the doubt here is cleared. But even in the form imm0008_3e - section 12 I have put main NOC applied for as 1111. But I have an experience of 8 years (5 in 1111 and 3 in 0111). So I have filled up the main duties separately for each NOC. I think this should not be a reason for rejection. It is just informing CIC the NOC under which you are applying along with experience (whether in same NOC or some other)

Any views?

Hi SMFAHAD,

In Economic class form you have to fill your duties once per NOC. But in reference letter mentioned it separately with adequate support i.e. Pay stubs, promotion letters, contract letters etc.

Not once per NOC, once per employer.

Hi guys,

I am in a big confusion !!

1. Can I take a reference letter from a currently working employee from my past company, but he was not my superior...is that fine?

2. If I take a reference letter from my ex-superior, will they accept?

so much of confusion. pls reply
