Hi All
I have not been active on the forum for some time. Since last update, I have received my PER on 6/26 and MR on 07/14

I have updated the spreadsheet

NOC 2171
App recd: 6 May 10:02 AM
VO- CPC-Ottawa
CC Charged: 6/4/2014
PER: 6/26/2014
MR: 07/14/2014

I have sent a request to FBI on 07/15 for PCC and going to request Indian embassy for PCC tomorrow. Going to schedule Medical data soon

Hi Piscean5,

Can you please let us know what are the content of PER mail ? , when did they ask for PCC?

Thanks,
Vinay

Not sure if this is a repeated question but does anyone know if a job offer without LMO(like Intera Company transfer) is considered a valid job offer while applying for FSQ or its not.

I mean say if Mr.X works for a company ABC in India and if his company sends him to their Canada location(Intera company transfer, which doesn’t require a LMO)
Is such job offer consider a valid job offer to claim point in FSW or its not??

Does any have any insight about this? Or does anyone know of any thread where this topic is discussed??

u will receive point for all of ur job. I quote below lines from application guide.

link is

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg72b

"Factor 3: Work experience (maximum of 15 points)

You will receive points for the number of years of full-time paid work (or the equivalent in part-time paid work) you have obtained within the last ten years. Full-time means at least 30 hours of paid work in one week.

You must have at least one year of continuous full-time, paid work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in the primary occupation you specify in your application.

In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, your work experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011. Follow the Determining your NOC category instructions above to find the NOC 2011 category that matches your skilled work experience over the past ten years.

You must provide proof of your work experience with your application. Refer to the Document Checklist (PDF, 240 KB) for more information."

Just to clear that : Experience point is counted for only Primary NOC. Your other NOC's experience will not be counted

Dear All Seniors,

Was going through "Required Imp Posts", i got confused!

Will the experience of 1 NOC (more than a year) not counted altogether IF its not consistent with other jobs (not relevant of 1 NOC )

Yes my friend, for the calculation of points only your Primary NOC is considered.

DEAR Sathyam.

i v 9 years experience. 7.5 marketing/sales(NOC 1123) AND 1.5 yr lecturing(NOC 4011).
am thinking to apply in lecturer(NOC 4011) and plan to adopt it in future IA.
it seems slow and will keep me safe to be within cap

what will be my scenario in experience points in this case?

reposting again. Please advise seniors.

Hello friends,

I just noticed, in my company reference letter, issued date was mentioned 12th May 2013 rather 2014. I think HR mentioned 2013 by mistake. But I kept, all contract letters ( which shows contract ends until December 2014) and pay slips up to April 2014. My application received on 20th may 2014.

Please advise, if my application will be returned due to the date 2013 date on reference letter? I am worried now.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Shaik

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you).

Let me guess, you are originally from somewhere in the Indian subcontinent, one of the countries here...am I right? :)

hahaha, yes I am from Pakistan. You guessed it by my questions regarding POF :D
I just wanted to clear my confusion between family member and dependents
