Hi,

I despatched my documents on 12th May and it has been received on 21st May as per the acknowledgement from the courier company. But still no revert from CIC. Any idea how do they revert back? Do they send an email or do they send a courier?

Regards,

Valentina

when an applicant's ecas status is "In process", can we consider him/her to be part of the cap number?

Just to add on... My app was returned last year because of CAP reached. So I have UCI with returned app.

Also, I wasn't able to see any update till last day with that UCI. But today, its there, says Received on 8th May.

Hi Everyone,

Just FYI, following is the response I received from CIC to my email. I sent email on June 2 and received a response on Thu, Jul 10, 2014 at 2:26 PM ET:

Good Afternoon:

Our office can make no guarantee that documentation submitted separate from the application will be matched to the application prior to the assessment or return of your application.

Hi,

Thank you everyone for your responses and suggestions in such a short span of time.

Luckily, I had a UCI number as I had applied for Canadian visa earlier. Hence, I sent the following to CIC:

31-May-2014

To

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2171
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

Sir/Madam

Subject: Fee Payment for Federal Skilled Worker, NOC Category, Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2011 (UCI XXXXXXXX)

This is with reference to my Immigration application under the Federal Skilled Worker program, NOC Category, Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2171 dated 24-May-2014 vide UCI number XXXXXXXX. Along with my aforesaid Immigration application, I had included Fee Payment Form for payment of CAD 1,100 towards application for Permanent Residence. My credit card details that were furnished in the aforesaid Fee payment form have been compromised and hence, the issuing bank (i.e. Bank of America) has blocked my aforesaid credit card and issued a new credit card.

Hence, I am enclosing a fresh Fee Payment Form dated 31-May-2014 furnishing my new credit card details for payment of CAD 1,100 towards the fee for my Permanent Residence application under the Federal Skilled Worker program vide UCI number XXXXXXXX.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Name: XXXXXXXX
Address: XXXXXXX

Enclosures:
1) Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence (IMM 5620) dated 31-May-2014
2) Barcode pages of Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) dated 24-May-2014

How does CIC reply? By email or courier? What is PER....confused with acronyms. I have dispatched docs on 12th May and docs reached on 21st May as per courier confirmation. Anyone who has applied after 12th May and received a revert from CIC? Do they revert only if positive or revert in any case?

Pls help.

Regards,
Valentina

Does anyone here know of a good forum that would give good insight
about job prospects in canada? This forum is excellent, but it only talks about fsw and the application part. I want to prepare myself more on other integral and important aspects of an eventual successful living in Canada.
