Hi guys,

Just a quick question. Hope you guys could help. If I have 4 years experience in 2172 and 2 years experience in 2171. Do I still get a total of 15points for Work Experience? Or do I only get the points for the NOC which I will apply for? Please let me know. Thanks.

You will get points for 6 years.

See the word eligible occupations is what I have based my argument upon i.e. you will not get points for work experience earned in areas which are not relevant to your NOC which has been declared as an eligible occupations for the program in which you have applied....

We can only process your application if you:

have one year of continuous full-time (or an equal amount of continuous part-time) paid work experience
in one of the eligible occupations within the last ten years

Source : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

(Maximum 15 points)

You can get points for the number of years you have spent in full-time paid work (at least 30 hours per week, or an equal amount of part-time).

As those who are using dd may not know when their dd has been encashed gherefore my question with seniors is that how much time normally cic takes in updating the ECAS after charging cc or dd. Those who allready had uci and used cc can answer this or those who has uci and know from their bank that there dd has been encashed can answer this correctly..

That is only for the stipulated minimum 1 year experience. That is the bare minimum before your application will be considered complete.

But in addition to that, experience in any of the Skill Type 0, Skill Levels A or B of NOC 2011 will be considered for getting additional points.

If you are including other documents like coy of tenancy agreement then just one month's bill is fine. I included the copy of tenancy agreement and just one month's bill to provide proof of residence of my sister and it has been accepted.

Just to clarify that I also included a copy of her Canadian Citizenship Card.

Help! For those who have relatives in canada.

For the Proof of Residence, i only have 3 months monthly bills is that enough? Because my uncle couldnt give me the bank statement.

Hi - I have already sent the bank statements with my original application but VO asks for the same second time too along with PCC. So my query was how much time they give to the applicant to submit those?

Regards,
Monu

They mention in email the specific time to submit docs.

Hello Everyone,

I'm a new member here. This is a really useful forum. Thanks everyone for the the wealth of information here.

I've just sent my application on 10th July for NOC Code 1112.

I had one quick question: the number of received application is 116 on the CIC website for NOC code 1112. At what stage will applications start counting towards this number. Is it after the first level check of completeness of after the PER.

The reason I ask is that, as of 12th July, the spreadsheet shows only 12 cases of PER received from this NOC Code while the CIC number is 116. Does that mean that number of 1112 applications in the spreadsheet is about 10% of the total universe.

No one can predict about your application is in cap or not. Wait for 3-4 months to get reply.
