Dear Friends,

I need some help specially from Pakistan because we have requirement from WES to send Intermediate Certificate directly from Institution, so any one who has done this procedure, please guide me about how to proceed with this attestation.

Also i already send to WES my Bachelor and Master degree and marks certificate copy attested and sealed in envelope (without Intermediate certificate) but they give the objection "NOT ACCEPTABLE", now I am confused what i need to submit or only because i did not submit my School certificate, they did not accept this document. (link also shared)

Please guys i need your help regarding this issue to be resolved.

Did you you get your bachelors and masters degree attested and sealed by HEC? That's a requirement!! They will attest your educational documents and seal the envelope for you to send it to WES ....

WES requires, besides higher education credentials, HSC and SSC certificates also ... The detailed procedure is as follows:
1. SSC Certificate :
Go to the Board of Secondary Education with a copy of your mark sheet and your SSC certificate.
Then there get your mark sheet attested and your SSC certificate get it verified ... There are diiferent booths for each of them ... Each will take 10 days to process ... (with a fee of around Rs 500 for marksheet attestation and Rs 600 + for certificate verification). They will give you a date to collect those verified docs ..
On that day get the attested marksheet and get it sealed from there, get the verified Certificate and get it sealed .. Write your WES ref no top of that sealed envelope ..
Then go to courier section with Rs 3,000 and ask them to send it to WES by DHL ... Hopefully it will be delivered in three days ...

For HSC (Intermediate Certificate) ... Go to Board of Intermediate Education and do the above procedure ... The problem with HSC board is that they send by Pakistan Post which takes 30 days and docs occasionaly get lost ... Ask for their help to DHL the docs and they will probably do it ...

OK, so I was trying to call CIC on their toll free number, but since that number couldn't be connected from outside Canada, I decided to use 800 instead of 888 to see if it works.

As soon as the phone connected this is what I heard from the other side

Pretty sure that's not CIC, unless of-course they are running another business after office hours. ;D ;D That may also explain the slow processing speed.

Probably, yes!
What credentials are you getting evaluated? Masters only Or both Masters and Bachleors?

May be it's just the luck of the draw I guess. Once in a while some lucky applicants are offered a "special" service by CIC.

There is a form available on WES ( for Pakistan) to be sumbitted at the board office.

1. Fill and print it out ----- take the original and a copy of it with you
2. If you are from BISE then a bank draft of $15/- in the name of "Secretary Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi" has to be attached with the application form
3. Passport size photograph

AGAIN, if you are in Karachi and belong to BISE then go to room no. 14 at the intermediate board office.
They know what WES is and you should not have a problem sending your intermediate docs to WES through them.

Ok. But even my 10th mark sheet has only my Father name on it. It doesn't have my Mother name. Is Mother name mandatory on DOB certificate ? If yes, can i get affidavit having my parents name and DOB without having mother name on 10th mark sheet-------Yes take an affidavit

No. I have printed the matter on a plain white paper and got their (supervisor and another manager) signatures and tagged their business cards. I have also printed another letter mentioning my inability to provide roles and responsibilities because of Company policy. However I have added my salary break up on company original letter head. I have got reference letters from my two previous organizations. Is it fine ? ---------SEEMS FINE---REST IS ON THE CIC OFFICERS......

Pls what is ECAS and how do I check it.

ECAS is the web access where you can check your application status.

For that you need UCI number. If you have applied before then you might have one with your returned app.

btw when was your application received??
