PERS notifications confirms to you that your application has been positively assessed at the application stage and that you have found to satisfied set down by the Minister of Citizenship,Immigration and Multiculturalism and that you have received determination of the eligibility to be processed for your NOC duties.
PERS also confirm that your payment has been received and give you your receipt No.
The PERS email further tells you that your final selection is going to be determined by a visa office.
CIC will surely forward your your application package to the visa office you mentioned in your generic form and depending on your local visa office,an acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) will be sent to you to signify that it has been received.
Summarily and technically,PERS mail does not confirm to you that VO has cleared you up for your next level of medicals and PP...it only telss you that CIC in canada has passed your application fir to be transfered to your VO for further processing.
I hope you are now cleared.
Cheers.
Thanks for the explanation Mate ;D. If ur ECAS status is updated without the PER email being sent to u, does that mean ur file is already sent to VO and its just a formality of sending PER email with receipt and AOR details..? How long does it take from here for New Delhi office to validate the application for next level of medical, PP if you have any info about it??? :o

Hi all, after going through the replies I'm tensed. My current status is as below :
IELTS - overall 7.5 bands - L-8.5, R-8, W-6, S-6.5
NOC eligible - 2133 ( electrical)
WES report - not received. Expected to be delivered on 15th July'14
All documents arranged except WES report.

What do you think are my chance if I send my application before 20th July'14 ?

Please let me know your thoughts

You will be in Cap.

Hey guys, one quick question,

Should I attach the supporting documents for background declaration. I know they are not required but will it help speed up the process provided my application is accepted first. Btw I am applying for NOC 0111 Financial managers.

One question to all the members :
If there is cap of 1000, what do you think will be the success rate ? I mean not all the applications will get through the final stage. Will the seats be left un-filled by the end of the year if many of them are rejected at the verification stage?
I am not trying to dis-hearten anyone, it's just a hypothetical question.

Me too agree with your point marked in red. :) :) :)

Plus want to add that:
1. Work experience will reflect the actions described in the lead statement
2. reflect performance of a substantial number of the main duties (yes, at least 51% or more)
3. reflect all of the essential duties described (100% matching :o :o )

Guys,
In the package - Bar Code pages on top OR Checlist on top? :)

These 2 will be after with DD + Mailing Labels + Photos because of their smaller sizes.

Then what about cover letter?

anyone? im confused because i dont know if cover letter or checklist or barcode pages should be on top.

[size=10pt][size=10pt]Guys !

for NDVO : what do you think for following time line (Just fill what you think with your experience so far )

PER ---> AOR = Avg days/months ?

AOR ----> Med Req = Avg days/months ?

Med Req ---> Passport stamping = days ?

Order should be:
1. Cover letter (non mandatory document)
2. Document checklist
3. Bar code pages.. followed by application forms

Mailing Labels + Photos+checklist+barcode pages+forms and documents according to document checklist. Put the cover letter should be placed where applicable;for example, cover letter on JD will be on JD.

DD should be attached with clips with the payment form.

Hello Seniors,

I came to know of the opening of FSWP rather late. I have been doing some research but everything looks rather hazy now. I have a few queries that I would request seniors to help me with.

1. I have seen on CIC's page that they have received a total of 28 applications for NOC 2171 (I'm applying using this NOC). However, the spreadsheet shows that around 550 applicants have applied. Where did the rest go? In the same light what is the May 7th/8th applications?

2. I would like the seniors to advise me if it is a good idea for me to apply now. Is there a good chance that my application will be received after the cap limit is hit?

3. I have most of the documents ready including IELTS results and ECA from WES. The problem is that my wife's passport will expire in Jan 2015 so I'm not sure how CIC will view this. Also, I haven't applied for my 4-month old son's passport yet. Any advice about this would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance to all!!!

All the best to all the applicants!

Bro, the spreadsheet shows 128 applications with NOC 2171 at CIO.

Now there are only 5 people who received PER as per spreadsheet, but cic website says 28. So lets consider 28/5 = 1/5.6 of applicants with NOC 2171 are active on this forum. Total no of 2171 applications at CIO = 128. We can deduce that 128 * 5.6 = 717 applications have reached from across the world.

So if you apply now, there is good chance you will fall under cap.

Thanks
